  1. Hi,

By God's grace and with your help everything went well.. Now my last hurdle.. interview next week.. so excited!!!

My interview is in UAE as am working here. I would like to spend little time with my parents in India after the visa interview. But yesterday my friend told me that since I have taken my medical from UAE and if I travel to India my medical will get void. Is this true? I will have issues at the POE? Any advise will be really helpful... Thanks in advance :)

  2. Am not so sure about PCC. There are few things which could be the reason

    1. I applied PCC through dubai police website. In website it was showing "Good Conduct Certificate" and the title of PCC is also same.

But this time I went to police station and applied directly and then they gave me a certificate titled police clearance certificate. Also NVC mentioned in checklist tht I need to go to police station withe the required docs.

    2. My PCC was about to expire when I sent it to NVC

  3. Hi,

I got checklist from NVC for police clearance. We have actually sent it with other documents but anyway 30 days more waiting :(

FYI - I applied Police Clearance for Dubai through mobile app(currently am working in Dubai) and in mobile app it says "Good Conduct Certificate". So they given me a certificate with 3 months validity. But now I again went to the police station with my passport, photo and Emirates ID and requested for "Police Clearance Certificate" for US Immigration. But this time they gave me a total different certificate with the title "Police Clearance Certificate". Earlier it was Good Conduct Certificate. I assume this is the reason why they sent me checklist for PCC. Anyway those who apply from Dubai please directly go to police station and apply for PCC. Good Conduct and PCC are different(looks).

Please help me - NVC asked only for PCC in checklist. Does that mean all my other documents are perfect? or again is there any chance to get a checklist? please help....

  4. Hi,

I know how you guys feel.. because I was also one of you and still waiting for the NVC decision. I don't know when thats gonna happen.

From the day of we sent i130 our process was slow. After USCIS approved our petition we did not get any response for more than 60 days. We called them so many times during this time. We were hopeless.

One day I called them, the lady I spoke told me to wait for another 30 days to get the welcome letter. I got really sad and my voice became lil high from my sadness. I told her I cant wait any more and I want to talk to her supervisor ini little harsh way. She transferred the call to another lady said supervisor. She was so nice to us and did apologies to me. She promised we get the response in the same day. As she promised DS261 was available the same day. Next day we got the welcome letter and further process was so fast. Later she called us and confirmed that she had sent the letter.

We never expected the rest of the process will go that faster. And we were not prepared with the packages. Because of our negligence we delayed sending packages, AOS and DS260 for few days.

I don't know whether this help anyone. Also I don't advise anyone to talk to NVC harshly. My experience, its just happened.

I pray for everyone to get it accepted. Good luck.

  5. Congrats to all who got the approval :)

I got approval on 18th March. NVC received our case and updated to their system on 14th April. No NVC letter yet. But they have given my cased ID and Invoice number. Am able to login but can't do anything. Payment status shows "NOT INVOICED". I contacted NVC about 6 times but not getting any proper answer. They are saying that they are not able to tell when exactly we get the welcome letter and then only the payment will be active. :clock:
