I checked this morning and my EAD status was updated to "New Card is Being Produced" and my Travel AP is "Approved". I must have missed the Approved status for the EAD. Finally good to see some progress. My AOS is still at "Fingerprint Fee Received".

Hello all,
I submitted the I-485 along with the EAD and AP with NOA 1 date around July 1. We did the biometrics appointment on July 22 but my case status is still "Fingerprint Fee Received". Is this normal or should there have been a status change after successfully having the biometrics completed? The EAD and AP are still at "Case has been received" but am seeing many others getting approved.
Thanks

Hello,
I'm glad for everyone who has made it this far. I've been following this thread since my NOA1 in July 2014! Finally, we got approval from the embassy and are just waiting for them to give the visa to us.
When they fly over to the US, is there a special form to fill out? Or should my fiancee just go to the immigrations line and show them the K1 visa? The immigration officer will then fill out the I-94 form electronically? Or is this something my fiancee needs to fill out and present to them?
The other question I had was what is the proper order of getting a SSN and a marriage certificate? If we get married before filing for SSN, will that cause issues? I know we are supposed to wait about 10 days before filing for SSN so that our I-94 is registered in the system. However, I'd like to get married as soon as possible (before the 10 days). Will it cause any problems? Or do I simply go back and change the name on the SSN card later?
Thank you to everyone! -
I received an approval notice (finally) at 5:30PM today via text and an e-mail. I have an account with USCIS and signed up for their mobile and e-mail alerts. The approval date was February 13th so I think their online and notification systems were lagging last week (I checked every day).
My NOA1 was July 7 so glad that this part is over. Good luck to everyone still waiting, it will be soon!

Congrats to all the recent approvals! I'm glad to see it moving along!
However it seems like they are approving mid July and late July filers and I can't help but to feel like we are getting passed along. I am a July 7 filer... anyone else here in the same boat?

Yes, I wouldn't hold too much faith in the order of the case numbers, but I do assume they are SOME indication of order of processing. You can also see that I-129F forms are in the minority of forms. You can also see what type of activities they do on what date. For example, yesterday I saw only RFE's coming out for I-129F forms and on Monday I only saw a few approvals.

Actually, I've probably entered well over a thousand. I only concerned myself with the outstanding ones. I found 187 just for that week alone and there are only 20 pending now. I keep a spreadsheet with a column for the SRC #, TSC received date, and date of approval/RFE/denial. Much easier now that there are only 20 left in the spreadsheet. I just wish I wasn't one of the 20.
I use an iPhone app called "USCIS Case Tracker & Searcher. It not only keeps track of your case and gives you updates but the most useful feature is that I can put in a case number and then see the status of 100 or 200 (any number you give it) cases after it. If you want to see 100 cases before yours, then for example if your case ends with 4000, then start at 3900 and it will give you the status between 3900 and 4000 in a matter of a minute.

It surprised the heck out of us too, I was settling down to a late Feb, early March approval. Obviously for April and myself it is great news but does highlight the inconsistencies in the system. I keep my fingers crossed that this will be the beginning of more August approvals. Good luck all.
Maybe a few like yourself, but all of the July filers are still sitting around wondering when it'll be their turn! I'm a July filer..

yeah, I was looking forward to this but may 6 to june 6?!
gimme a break TSC just sucks so much
Yes. I can't tell if all of these "customer service" representatives are lying as to the status of TSC or just clueless. My guess is the latter, but they will become hostile if you try to tell them their information is outdated. It clearly says "As of November 30" and they will still say they're just processing June 5 now.

You may want to check the processing times online and see if your case is out of normal processing times. If you applied earlier than the date it is showing on the processing times link you will be able to file an inquiry. And also, you just need your USCIS tracking ID and some other basic info to make an infopass appointment.
I applied for I-90 in May. Six months had passed but I wasn't able to file an inquiry because they were still processing applications from April, 2014. Then it went straight to July 1, 2014 and I was able to file an inquiry. You can only file inquiry once the case is outside of normal processing times.

Thanks!

InfoPass is an Internet-based system that enables the public to go online to schedule appointments with immigration information officers at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) offices.
And how can you make an appointment without first having a service number or filing an inquiry first?
Immigration officer told me to file an inquiry after 6 months of my NOA1 which was January 9th. I called on the 9th but they said they won't file an inquiry because they're still processing May...
-
I also called a lot of times and never got a straight answer. My guess is that its a contracted third party just to answer and they are not immigration officers. I made an infopass appointment this Wednesday and my question was answered by the agent at the window.
What is an infopass appointment?

I called a month ago and they said I should call today (6 months after my NOA1) to file an inquiry. Spoke with a Tier 2 immigrations officer today and they are either all clueless or lying. They say they are only processing May files and that it will be another 2 months before I am able to file an inquiry.
They say no one has even touched my case because they are working on May. I asked them why CSC is going much faster and that I am trying to raise awareness of the situation that TSC is severely backlogged. The officer denied this and said CSC is at the same place as TSC and that I shouldn't believe everything I read on the internet.

No approvals this week reported for June really??
-
There's already 2 threads going on for July TSC
-
Congratulations! Kind of random.. there was also another July Texas approval about 3 weeks ago. I've been following the June thread closely and they are processing around mid June still. I think we have a few weeks to go (January?) until we start seeing real July processing.
-
Just to contribute my experience with a Tier 2 officer...They received my case July 7 and the officer tells me the best course of action is to wait until January 7th which would be 6 months from my file date. The system could then allow me to process an inquiry for being out of the processing time. Then I would have a confirmation number and then I should contact them again after two weeks and that should push it forward.... Overall the experience is pretty useless and am hoping to get an NOA2 before that, but I wasn't expecting much more than that.
Just a tip, if you use their call back system, it does work. I refused to wait 63 minutes on hold.

Ughhh we got our RFE letter.
Ssomething wrong with the birth certificate!! We send a copy of the original one. Maybe that wasn't good? Maybe it has to be a certified copy? Not sure. He is sending me the info on the letters tonight. So I can look trough them.
Guess we are getting a new one. I looked online and for 50 dollars you can get a certified one. In a few days.
So I guess that's our only option.
We even sent the long version!
Can anyone confirm that? The guide on this site says to just send a copy of the certificate and I feel most people would not assume that meant certified copy. I just sent in a copy as well...

July 7th filer here who has been following this June thread. Got the same message so it appears to be everyone, and not an indication that they are working on your file.
-
You should ask to be expedited! We are pressing forward - beneficiary has sent away for updated passport, medical is tomorrow and police cert will be requested as soon as the passport is back. Gotta keep busy.
So were you already approved?? When was your NOA2 date?
-
They are approving June right now. Status says April but it also says current as of September 30. December should be our month!
-
On the USCIS website we got the approval last nov12 but the website was update last nov15. So just check it everyday.
i wish you all the luck. The estimates here in visa journey works for us. We got approved 85 days from noa1. That is the last day of the estimate. I suggest you update your timeline so that we can all benefit from it.
You are a Philippine filer!!! And I think you know that your case is expedited and thus an outlier. Don't give people false hope. TSC is on June right now and there are some lucky July filers who are getting approved. Haven't heard anything about August yet.
-
Logged in as usual to check and found our NOA2 approved from 11/21, I actually checked saturday and it did not show up but anyways, it's there now, our NOA1 dated 7/3. Anyone has a clue of how long usually takes for the next steps to complete until we finally get an appointment?
Awesome! Thanks for updating us all. Not many in this thread can answer your question probably because we're behind you. Good luck!

Your service center says Texas Service Center. That can't be right. Congrats but please change your info so people don't get confused.

June 2017 I-751 filers
in Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion
Posted
Hello,
My case was updated just now but has anyone received this status? It was not the one I was hoping for...I believe mine was at the CSC.
"On September 14, 2018, your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number XXXXX, was transferred to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case.
