  1. On the medical question on Ds-260 form
“Do you have documentation to establish that you have received vaccinations in accordance with U.S. law?”

I have choseen “Yes” because i went to my local ambulance, and the nurse on the vaccinations departament said to me that:
Yes, i have you on my register with all the vaccinations you have taken from us since when you were less than 1 year old until you have turned 16 years old. When will be be ready for the medical proccedure you have to come to me and i will issue you a report will all the vaccinations you have taken from us completed with dates etc.

My question is: Do I have choosen the right option ? Will i be punished because i have choosen “Yes” ?
Or maybe the right option was “No” and than expleain that i will have at the day of my interview ?

Thank you very much for your time.

  2. Self employed counts but is more difficult to prove. Did you have customers? Get customer testimonials and statements from companies with official letterhead listing tasks performed, signed affidavits etc. Anything that proves you were working and is likely to satisfy a CO that you've been working in the work experience field as outlined.

Yes i do have costumers, they are common people that i have fixed the problems with their home PC -s. One of the costumers is a business man and i have developed a web site for his business, but i am afraid that his business is not registered.

So you are saying that i can prove my previews experience of work with common peoples procures signed by them ?

Do you think it's better to contact a lawyer and explain all my case ?

  3. I have done many type of works before, now i am 22 years old and this is my first job on my profession. Works that i have done before are not recorded because I or my emplyee did not paid the taxes.

I would like very mutch to delay my interview for the end of Aprile or May but i think i can't choose the time period of delay.

And if i do i had to do after my interview is scheduled right ?

  4. I have a response from my country embassy. They said to me that the only person who can give a certain answer to my question about vocational high school diploma, is the officer of consulate, at the day of interview, he will review my documentation and will take the ratings about my education.

  5. There is nothing impossible or hard to do it illegally in my coutry. Here people can have fake diplomas of university and masters, a high school diploma it is considered as the easiest diploma to fake. If it is up to fake as you mentioned before i think they will confirm it and guess that i have not done anything fake.

  6. It is entirely up to the embassy. Some will not entertain requests for rescheduling at all except for severe emergencies, others will allow you to do it in a certain timeframe only, others will be very flexible.

Have you checked that your job will be eligible under o-net?

I have followed instructions listed to "If you are selected" website, i have selected Job Family under "Find Occupations" next Computer and Mathematical and there i have found my job title:

Network and Computer Systems Administrators bf_sm.png

  7. Let us know the answer please? It may also help future readers with the same question.

Yes as soon as i will get a answer.

I want to ask, for how many months i am able to delay me interview after it is scheduled ? I mean if my interview is scheduled for this December or January 2015, can i delay it for at the end of April or May ?

  8. What sort of IT is it? Can you find an O*Net job for your role and apply with Work Experience?

If so.. you could try delaying your interview until May next year. (Someone correct me here) You could submit your DS-260 late.. say in March then you would get added to the May interviews and by then you'd have your two years of experience?

My role is "Network and Computer Systems Administrators bf_sm.png"

The link for this job is: http://www.onetonline.org/link/summary/15-1142.00

It says that not all occupations requires University Degree, also i have a diploma for Network Administrator from a Community College course, it's the private version of my school.

  9. What if he requested a DS-260 unlock?

He could leave it unlocked then lock it at a time when his experience is >2. It won't cost anything and it's his only hope really.

What do you mean with "DS-260 unlock" ? So i am able to freeze my application until i have completely done 2 years of work ?

If KCC schedules on December or January my interview, do i have any possibilities to delay it for 4 or 5 months ?

Please can you help me on what i can do in order to meet the criteria of US lottery ?

    Also for education:

I am graduated from a vocational high school, all the exams that i have done 2 years before were exactly same as normal high school, 4 exams, 2 of them mandatory and 2 others with choice.

With my diploma i am eligible here in my country to apply for any university i want, even that i have graduated for Electronic i am in the same condition as other students and i can apply for Justice, Economic or any Social University that i want. In other words with my diploma i can apply in all of Universities here in my country. Will this mean anything for embassy ?

  10. It depends. For example in Poland you have a vocational school and vocational high school. Vocational school is not equivalent to high school but vocational high school is because you finish this type of school with the same exam as high school and you can go to university. I think that is the main requirement - can you apply to a Uni after your vocational school or would you have to go to college or pass some additional exams.

I know few people who got their green cards in Warsaw and they have diplomas from Polish vocational high school which are equivalent to this:

Admission to higher/university education in Poland requires completion of a secondary school diploma
[Świadectwo dojrzałości liceum profilowanego or a recognized equivalent], which is equivalent to a
U.S. high school diploma and is sufficient for freshman admission to a U.S. college or university.
So give your embassy a call and check if you are eligible for DV.

  11. Yes i have won the first step and last mounth i have submitted DS-260 form. On the Us emmbasy in Tirana is wroten this:

"Not all high school degrees in Albania qualify for the program. Part time high school diplomas - without a break from work, evening school, or correspondence - including five year programs or long-term programs (part time, without a break from work, evening school, or correspondence) dont qualify for the DV. In addition, vocational high school degrees rarely qualify for the DV program. Even if you completed part of high school on the part time system, and part of high school on the full time system, this diploma will not qualify for the DV."

My proffesion is IT and i have more than one year that i can prove my experience (since April 2013) that's why i am asking for education because i don't have yet 2 years of experience.

  12. Hello there,

I am graduated from a upper secondary vocational school for Electronic, with 5 year full time period program.

I have read and hurt from other people that this type of school it is not equivalent or it is not preferred by the visa lottery qualifications.

Education as it is mentioned on visa lottery web page instructions must be equivalent with a full time period for 12 years of education, other educations will be not qualify for the visa. My education is 13 years of education with full time period.

It is there any chance for me to qualify by diploma school ? I am graduated for Electronic, and on Diploma it is written: "Vocational Upper Secondary Education"

Will I be eligible for the visa lottery with this type of school ? Thanks
