i have got a checklist for 13 a. though i have put the exact amount from my 1040 line 22 ( total income) in the 2013 tax column. I called NVC and the rep did not have accurate answer and simply ask me to do it again and send it. Does not make sense to me. huh

Should the amount in I 864 part 6, 5 ( my current individual income is ) same as part 6, 13 a ?

Mine was reviewed and got a checklist today for AOS. My civil docs are being reviewed and sept 2 will be the 30th business day.

I have filed I-864. Do i need to put the total income in line 22 of 1040 or adjusted gross income in line 37 of individual income tax 1040? Confused !

I am married but my spouse is in India. When i filed for tax 2013, i was told by the tax preparer that i should file with single status because my spouse is not in US plus he does not have social security number. But as i am going through some post, this should not be done. Please guide me as i have already posted my AOS and return transcripts to NVC. Worried now

Hello, my husband does not have surname on his passport. His first name is A and last name is B. Under his Indian passport he has A B under his given name and blank surname. In his I-130 aplication he has first name as A and last name as B. i am wondering if i can follow the same names in ds 260 or do i need to put Given name as FNU and surname as AB?

Have you called NVC? Try calling them once and ask them if its under process or not. I submitted my AOS on same day as i submitted DS 261. i was told today that they are yet to review my AOS. I think calling them often helps.

I received an Iv invoice through E-mail yesterday and by evening it was on website as well. It took 24 days to invoice IV bill. Peace : )

I submitted my D 261 on June 6 2014 but my iv invoice is still not enabled. I called NVC and was told that it usually takes a month. So we need to be patient.
