  1. I haven't found the answer to this question anywhere, I'm sorry if it's already been discussed.

On our NOA2 it says there is an expiration date or something like that (I don't have it in front of me.) I'm just wondering what this means. My fiancé has his medical scheduled for this Friday, but the expiration is fast approaching (December 12.) Just wondering what this means.

Also, is the only time that fiancé will need to affidavit of support at the interview?

    Thanks for the help.

  2. Don't forget we only see a small percentage of the number of petitions that go through any service centre, some people may not come back to update their timelines etc.

Also, AFAIK, it's not that they won't be working on the I129Fs at all, they'll just have to balance that against other form types. These things always seem to go in cycles, TSC wsa relatively fast until November time last year, now it's slowed right down but I'm sure will speed up again at some point.

I really hope they continue to work on the 129fs, but good point about only seeing a small percentage.

  3. Hello everyone,

I hope this is the right place, and if this has been answered before I couldn't find it.

Other than those who had an RFE from before 3 weeks ago, there have been no 129f approvals from California in a while. At first I thought this was because of the glitch in the visa system, but then I was told by someone in the June filers forum that it was probably because of DACA renewals, and that's why they were getting through approvals in March, May and early June so quickly- to prepare for DACA renewals.

It looks like there isn't a deadline or anything for DACA renewals, so I was just wondering if anyone has any idea how long they will be working on these and not 129f approvals.

I'm trying to be patient, but unfortunately I got my hopes up that ours would fly through like those sent a few weeks before us, and it's now looking like I have to readjust my expectations.

Thanks, and again if this has been answered already i'm sorry, please point me in that direction.

  4. Also..

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between July 13, 2014 and July 19, 2014*.

I haven't failed to notice today is the 25th.

    I am impatient, yes.

    Hopefully, we'll hear something soon.

Things have really slowed down at California. They were flying through applications that came just about 2 weeks before yours, but things have seemed to come to a halt. My adjudication estimate has just been slowly moving back, and if you check the k-1 timelines, you see very few California timelines getting approved. I don't know what's going on. I know it's frustrating, but I just check the dates of the people from Texas getting approved (most of them are from January,) and it helps me to keep my frustration in check. We're pretty lucky to be sent to California even though they have slowed down. Fingers crossed they get moving this week though..

  5. I cant wait too so stressful but lets encourage each other that's how we will get there :dancing::dancing: :joy: :dancing:

Mine too has changed it now says November-December :dancing::dancing: :joy: great feeling

wow its great that you were forwarded to california

I dnt wanna miss this Christmas with my love seriously :ranting::ranting:

I'm really sorry that was callous of me.. Good luck to you! Fingers crossed you guys are together by Christmas.

  6. Sorry I wasn't very clear, I sent the intent to marry, meeting statements, as well as a letter from the judge (mom) who is going to do the ceremony.. I just didn't make copies for myself.

I'm so grateful for everyone's responses, this is incredible and makes me feel so much better, again I really appreciate it!

I'll have my fiance check out the link posted about the London embassy procedure, again, so helpful.

Great to hear about the California processing times, fingers crossed! Got the e-mail about the change of alien registration number today.

Another few questions, what has everyone done about leases and not knowing when they will be able to leave? My fiance's lease is up in London in September and obviously he will not be able to come to the states by then, but he doesn't want to sign another year lease or even 6 months in case things get done quicker than that.. so frustrating.

Also, i'm starting law school in August, and i'm going to have to get someone else to be the financial sponsor. Because I will have zero income, should I still file a joint sponsor thing, or just have the other sponsor do it all on her own, (she makes more than they require.)

Also does anyone else find it funny how they ask when you are getting married or ask for venue receipts? Do people really put down payments on places and just cross their fingers?

  7. Hi everyone,

I submitted my 129f before I found this website, and now i'm getting paranoid about a few things.

In the section on my 129 where it asks about circumstances of us meeting, i'm worried that I was not specific enough. I was really stupid and didn't make copies of the forms, but I'm pretty sure I said something along the lines of "I studied abroad in London the summer between my sophomore and junior years of college, I met Sam (Fiance) in a pub in July 2010. Sam and I always get confused about whether we met on July 8th or 9th, and i'm worried that in my fiance meeting statement I wrote July 8th and he wrote 9th. Is this going to be a huge problem?

Also, as proof of meeting we submitted United Airlines mileage statements where you can see we took the same trip to San Francisco and Whistler Canada together, as well as passport stamps corresponding to that trip, there are also stamps from the 5 trips I have taken to London and mileage statements and stamps from some of his 15 trips to me in Cincinnati. I added a few pictures of us, but the only one in a distinct location is in front of the Golden Gate Bridge. The mileage statements are extensive, but i've been seeing that others have added bank statements and phone bills. I didn't add any messages, e-mails, phone bills, or credit card bills. I did have my mom, who is a judge, add in the letter from her saying that she is going to be doing the marriage ceremony attest to the fact that we have seen each other on multiple occasions within the past 2 years, I added a picture of my fiance, my mother and I as well. This should be enough correct?

Basically, I've read that someone was asked the date of meeting in the interview and they said something different in than what the 129f said, and that's made me really paranoid. Also now i'm worried that I don't have copies of the 129f, fiance meeting statements, letters of intent to marry, and the biographical information one.

Thank you so much for the help ahead of time..
