Hi everyone!!
So my husband is here illegally from Mexico. Long story short, we filed the I-601 waiver on 01/22/2014, and just received the approval notice on 06/20/2014. I am curious as to what our next step is.
From my understanding, we have to wait until the consulate is notified by the processing center, and they will contact us with his appointment in Mexico. Does anyone know if that is the case or not? I just fear sitting around waiting for months, only to find out we were supposed to call and make an appointment or something of that nature. I am signed up for alerts when there are any changes in the case through USCIS, and normally it tells me in the case status what the next steps are, but I didn’t receive anything, and when I check their website with the receipt number, it says it’s still in “Acceptance” status, so no help there.
