Passport card received yesterday, 2/25.
Still waiting for returned Naturalization Certificate.

Received passport today. Still waiting on naturalization cert and passport card.

I just received my citizenship after an 8 month process. I applied using a fee waiver!
All I did was fill out the fee waiver form, and attach copies of our tax return. It showed all that they needed to grant me the fee waiver.
Hope that helps.

Please add me!
Applied for card & book.
Sent on 2/4.... From Phoenix, AZ. Don't have check cashing info because someone else paid for me.
Also, not expedited!

I was naturalized on Tuesday, and I am supposed to start my new job tomorrow.
I had submitted a name change (last name) which was given to me on my naturalization certificate (I took my husbands name).
I did not update my social security yet, because I had filed my taxes 2 days before my ceremony. Once I update my citizenship with social security, my name will change. If I do it before my tax refund is granted, this will cause my taxes to be rejected, so I planned to wait in order to avoid major delays on my taxes (we are expecting a refund).
But. I start my new job tomorrow. And all the social security place has on file is my old green card. Is this an issue? They physically took my green card away from me at my ceremony, so I do not want to get in any kind of trouble. Please help.

Thank you!
Someone please update me
Can't wait to be red! Haha.

I AM AN AMERICAN!!!!!
It was great. Could not hold back the tears in my eyes. I even shared my journey with the audience. It was amazing.
So happy to be done with immigration!

I will be a citizen by tomorrow afternoon. Yay!
I heard they recommended you wait 10 days to change your social security info? Is this true?
-
Oath ceremony is tomorrow!
Can't believe the end is finally in sight!
-
That does not help me.
I won't have my passport yet....

I am starting a new job, and on Tuesday I am handing in my green card and receiving my citizenship certificate.
So what can I use as proof of work eligibility in the USA?? The citizenship certificate?
-
Well I crossed mine out and corrected that. Hopefully that won't be an issue. Thank you jimmyhou!

1- sign on oath date. Just make sure the date is the same as the oath date.
2- home address
3- home address
4- green cards/work permit.
5- keep signature consistent. Use the one you have signed everything for.

Oh I see. She is traveling 6 days before expire date.
-
I don't understand how she will be fine.
Once the green card is expired, they would surely not allow her to come back to USA?
A green card is not an indefinite permanent resident allowance. It's good only for the 10 years it is issued....

Received my letter. All is good.

Uscis is totally a bag of mixed nuts. I was filled with nerves the whole process BECAUSE of this minor hiccup. It was not a fun process for me. I had a very kind and nice interviewer! That's for sure! Thank you all.
-
Would like to update. My case was not denied. This issue was specifically brought up during my interview, too. The interviewer said it was fine. And their supervisor agreed.
Oath ceremony is in a little under 2 weeks.

The minor reformat removed my citizenship oath date. Can someone add it? 1/27/15

What is needed for 5 year green card eligible n400 applicants?
Tax transcripts (all 5 years worth?).
Green card copy.
Birth certificate.
Application.
N400 application & biometrics fee.
Traffic tickets?
Passport style photo...
I'm going to be helping a family member and want to make sure I don't mess it up for them.
I applied based off my 3 year marriage.

It's a bag of mixed nuts. It you get one officer that refuses to give you the info, you might call back and get another who gives you all the information.
Happened to me.
I received the info about my oath date over the phone, just about a week ago.
-
Received my letter today! The oath will be held at the same place I had my biometrics and interview done at.
2 weeks from today...
-
My interview was 12/3/14. I was put into oath waiting list 1/2/15, and my letter was mailed 1/8/15.
-
I changed my name (last name) due to marriage. My whole process started 5/27/14 and will end 1/27/15. 8 months total.
