  1. Hi everyone! I wanted to ask one thing today..

I came here with K-1 visa, got married, and filed AOS, AP& EAD packet on 12/09.

I already received NOA1 so now waiting for biometrics appointment letter!

My question is, "Changing address while waiting for EAD card could delay the process?"

We are trying to move to different city in the same state next month, so I think it's gonna be after the biometrics but I will probably be waiting for my EAD card still.

I would like to get my EAD card AS SOON AS POSSIBLE since I would like to go ahead and start working.

Is it better NOT to move till I receive the actual EAD card, and then move?

Or moving before receiving EAD card won't make any difference??

    Thank you in advance!

  2. That's great! Still, I didn't recieve any notification until today...

I'm just curious, did you all write I- 485 on top of the USPS box when you send your package to USCIS? Coz I did not. I just put from my name & address and to USCIS, Chicago Box, IL60680-4120.

Sorry for the late reply, I just checked with my husband and he said he only put our name & our address to USCIS like you did.

Have you gotten notification or the actual hard copies yet?

I just received the NOA1 hard copies (3 of them) last friday.

Seems like some people don't even receive the notification and just receive the hard copy so don't worry and relax, I hope you'll hear from them really soon!

  3. I put our check on the top of the packet and clipped the entire thing together with a binder clip. I did not place it in an envelope, although I don't see how that would cause any problems.

Ok. Thank you jennrg63 for your reply. One more question,

In your application, did your husband filed the I485 for you or you applied by yourself?

The reason why I am asking this is because my husband's part in the whole package was just the affidavit of support and his g325A. Did i do it right?

I filed I485 for myself and my husband's part in whole package was just the affidavit of support, his G325A and the support documents for it :)
