  1. This thread was originally started for people who had filed K-1 visas and survived the TSC. So hearing from those who went through CSC, and then got a super special sticky note, and or filed and received extraordinarily fast approvals for their CR1 visas and are now approved and issued, is like being repeatedly slapped in the face. We have families too, we have been separated sometimes twice as long and we have been repeatedly told we are not allowed to express our disappointment, and now after these many months our rightful anger. Yes anger at the system, but also anger at people who in their own happiness, to which yes they are entitled, cannot see the damage and hurt they are causing to those of us repeatedly left behind. Alone.

  2. Ok so exactly what do y'all mean by it switching to non-immigrant and how do you check that? I went back to the CEAC website, clicked on the non-immigrant option in the drop down box, then entered the embassy and the AA number (from completing the DS-160). I saw the same information: 6/24 on BOTH dates and still in AP. Friggin frustrating! I emailed the embassy but of course they haven't replied....

That is a normal part of the approval process. It switches from Immigrant to Non-Immigrant before it is processed and issued.

  3. Good luck to everyone on their journeys...for those who have been kind & helpful thank you and I wish nothing but the best for you. I can't tolerate the hypocrisy and belittling on this site anymore. I know for many of you this has been a great experience on here but for me it's been the opposite. I have tried to be helpful and kind to people on here but that gets you nowhere except being treated like a 5 year old and put on a "no help list". If you want to keep in touch I'll still be on PM, but I'm done posting. Take care and I hope you all receive approvals soon! ? xxx

Please don't go  We are almost through this. Don't let the comments of a few detract from those who you are helping or the help that you can gain by shared experience.

  4. Ok so I'm not sure what's going on now. My case creation date just changed to today and now it is non-immigrant. which Iknow they normally do that right before AP/Issue so we should get it issued in the next day or so. But that either means A they didn't mess up my date on mine but I doubt that honestly or B that London is back up and running. Which I think is the more likely of the situation. So hopefully that is good news for you guys too! I'll keep you posted.

    Fingers crossed for you!

  5. I need to know if the UK is on the list.....saying 22 posts is like a dagger. Just tell us what 22 posts! It's like pulling freaking teeth. I don't think we'll know what it means for the UK until someone's visa gets issued. I'm hoping Deborah's comes through!!

This statement by London is what pisses me off. They say I'm not affecting and keep telling us that yet I still have no freaking visa. ????

We are currently unable to print most immigrant visas, including fiancé(e) visas, approved after June 8, 2015. Once the systems are fully operational, we will work as quickly as possible to clear the backlog of pending visa cases. As soon as the situation is resolved, we will update this message

I will believe it when they say which ones and people start getting their visas. Its absurd that they would post something like that and then not say which ones.

  6. Welcome back. Hope you are enjoying your time! And yes it's pretty crappy to say the least. Then you have ours that was approved and they state as well as their website ours wasn't effected but I still have no visa. He's just sat waiting. They give me weird inconclusive answers that are hateful when you talk to them. I'm so fed up.

I can't believe how you are still waiting. That is just cruel.

They also say that this wasn't caused by a cyber security problem, yet I get e-mails at work that state differently. I believe what they say when I see it.

  7. Scott had his interview and it still says "ready" scheduling an interview, yadda yadda yadda. Normal?

Ours was yesterday and it says the same Ready ^

Ours was on the 15th and aside from the last touch date changing to the 15th, nothing has occurred. I believe it wont go into AP until they are able to process them. That is just my speculation though.

As far as getting married on the 11th, I cancelled and changed mine for the 10th because I have no faith that they will be able to correct this in a way to allow that to happen.

  8. So we had booked tickets for the 26th for my fiancée to fly from London. Her interview is tomorrow and with all this chaos I am a little worried. Do you think she should mention we already have tickets booked? Not to mention we have weeding plans and honey moon booked for July 11th which was the 3rd time we changed things. I know we shouldn't have booked tickets so early but it was just too expensive we waited..

My fiancé is at his interview now in London and I'm anxious to hear what they say as our wedding is also July 11. I'm

    So worried

London website says that if it was after June 8 they cannot process anything and they should allow at least 3-4 weeks to get your visa after approval. So honestly you probably won't make either of the dates and I would say that you definitely won't make the flight :/ sorry.. It won't hurt to mention it but honestly I don't think they care about our plans. :/

Our interview and approval was yesterday. James had a ticket booked for the 30th and our wedding was to be the 10th. He was told at the embassy that it would be 3-4 weeks or more and to not make plans.

Fortunately, James was able to cancel the flight with a refund. The wedding with family and friends is more than likely a no go, but at this point I just want him here. :crying:

This whole process has been one nightmare after another.

  9. We were just approved and my fiance was told that due to the delays he can expect his visa in 3-4 weeks. I can't even comment further than that because I am beyond upset. And to be honest- because I believe NOTHING this government says- I don't even know if that's a true statement. She said they are "hoping" to have the issue fixed by the end of the week. Again...not believing that either. We were looking at being reunited next week. Now that's clearly not going to happen and it's literally soul crushing. That's the only way to describe it. So that's the information we were given from the UK embassy today.

We were also approved today and told the same information about 3-4 weeks. She also added could be longer though and to not make any plans.
