  1. Hi all! I was hoping if someone can give me some guidance. I send out my paperwork for I-751 in the beginning of October. 2 weeks later I received I-797. Now almost 3 months has passed I haven’t received anything, no appointment for my biometric test as well... I knew it you’ll take a while but now I’m getting worry since it seems like you should be getting a mail for scheduling biometric appointment. Can someone suggest me what to do? Or how I can check if I don’t miss my biometric test( if they did send me a mail and I miss it)? Thank you in advance!

  2. Hi guy! I submit my paperwork’s for i751 and apply for 10 year green card in the beginning of October 2017. I received a I-797 within 2 weeks, however, I have not received any notices for biometric appointment. Now it has almost been 3 months and still nothing, and that worries me. Normally I see most of the people have their biometric appointment booked after 1 month or so after they received 1-797. Can you share your experience? What should I do to make sure I didn’t miss my appointment?(if they do send a mail and I miss it)

    Thank you guys in advance!

  3. This is a second chance to give them the pieces they are missing. When I sent in mine I received a message saying they will process it and notify me again if anything is still missing (3rd chance). They won't deny if you supply them will everything they ask for. Good Luck!

So the RFE is not the last chance for us to get a NOA2? We get to send them as many times as they request it?

I think you should send it in anyway, it won't hurt your case. USCIS website is out of it. Many people received emails and text messages today as soon as they updated the website. Good Luck on your approval?

Yes, i plan to do that. we will be calling them tomorrow morning as well. Thank you :)

  4. I totally understand!! Maybe they just found your evidences (Pictures and plane tickets) and updated but didn't realize you had something requested in the same RFE and when they process your case they will see the letters are missing and issue a new RFE, maybe a system issue.. Idk...Anyways I would definitely call to make sure what happened and prepare everything they requested to send them (Add delivery confirmation and signature). Try to make an appointment since it can be helpful!!!

I know how much this process can get to our last nerves but your file was touched and soon enough you will have everything clear and your approval! :)

Be positive!!! All the june fillers are almost there!! :D

Yes it is tricky but I think you need to make sure you have anything on hand that didn't go initially.. make sure your fiance sends their papers urgently. You may hear more in the next day or so. You can always send them (in response to their first request), after all they did ask for documents.

We have everything ready, and my fiance is calling them tomorrow morning.

Hope we get some positive response. thanks you all :)(F)

  5. Hi,

If you're really missing the documents I would say it wouldn't be possible to change the status until they receive. I would try to make an appointment at the local office and also give a call to know what's going on (Try to talk to a Tier 2). When I first read your post the first thing that came into my mind was that they received somebody's else RFE and updated to your case (Maybe a similar receipt number or something like that). I have no idea if it is possible to happen but that's what I thought!! Hope everything gets fixed soon! :)

Well, we sent pictures and the copy of my plane tickets as prove of meeting within 2 years, however, in RFE they still ask for it again.

I'm more concern about the letter of intent, i mean if they have found our pictures back( i was guessing they lost those and then found it later on?) it's fine,

but we dont have letter of intent yet, and i dont want them to think its our fault that we didnt send that back when we didnt even have a chance to send it.

why is this happening uggghhhh

  6. I received the same RFE even though, like you, I had pictures, a letter, and my fiance was in America for a year on a tourist visa when we met. I re-mailed all my original proof plus more-- an entire folder of proof with both sides full. It still took a month from there to get the approval.

As the website has had glitches and has been erratic lately I would say gather everything and get ready. When you call they will confirm, but make sure you push a little because the people who answer the phones are not even in the same State as the service centers, so they cannot see everything.

So i should still call them first thing in the morning,

We have out pictures, copy of passport, and letters of intent ready, we were about to sent them,

I just dont understand how they said they got out RFE when we did not even send it back yet.

On they latest case status update, they said they will continue processing it,

i just hope they dont deny us because we dont have the letter of intent.

  7. Yes I have read a couple of those lately. I think maybe when it gets checked through they realise they already have the information.

Also of some that have and RFE and are being asked for documents they have already sent. It's hard to believe they are 'working too fast' and missing things but yes, there have been similar cases recently. Good thing is that you are on track and should hear soon.

But in RFE they also ask for "letter of intent", which we did not sent in the very first beginning,

and I'm worry that they thought we didnt sent it back.

I dont want this be the cause that i did not get NOA2 or got denied, we've been waiting for so long... :(

  8. Hello, people,
I filed my K-1 Visa in June, and it was processed in TSC.
In the end of Novenber, we finally heard fro USCIS that we will be getting a notice for RFE.

The RFE we got said we have to send "prove of meeting in 2 years"( which we sent in the very beginning, all the pictures and stuff) and "letter of intent"(which we forgot to sent in the beginning). So i prepared those 2 things again and mail it back to my fiance cuuse he needs to sign on it.

My fiance just got the stuff we were about to send back to USCIS and he will be mailing in a couple of next few days,
HOWEVER, WE GOT A TEXT SAID THAT THEY HAVE UPDATE OUR CASE STATUS AGAIN,
AND SAID THAT THEY ALREADY GOT OUR RFE AND OUR PROCESSING WILL CONTINUE.

How did this happen? We have not even sent anything back yet,
and they already got out RFE? I didnt understand at all.

Does this happen to anyone before? Please help us.
We tried to call them just an hour ago, but they are closed.
If someone has this same experience happened before,
please let me know, I would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you in advance!!

  10. Get your tracking Number and check it on UPS.COM then you will see if it was recieved otherwise ,you justy have to wait and be patient if they dnt accept it they will send it to you,if they do they will send you a receipt .

They will send to the United State One cause which is where the Petitioner reside.

My fiance sent it at post office, and he didnt ask for a tracking number..... so i guess all i have to do is wait... hope we hear something soon.

  11. It doesnt matter will still get notified by mail ,once you receive your receipt number you can sign up online online and you will be notified by email and tex

Thanks for answering me :) But we havent received anything yet, we dont even know if USCIS got our mail or not..the timeline i have now is June 10 papers sent out, and thats it... the post office told us the mail would arrive on June 12th. but since we dont get any notification, we dont even know if they got out mail or not...

  12. June filer here too :)

I have a question... do you guys fill in the form G-1145 2h3n you're preparing for the papers?
I didnt know the form G-1145, therefore, we got no notice from text or email :(
Will it affect our file progess? Is there any other way to know when USCIS got out papers and working on it?

Btw, we sent out papers on June 10th.

Thanks in advance, i hope everyone gets good news asap :)

  13. Hello everyone,
I'm not a may filer but my fiance sent the papers on june 10th, and the post office said the package should arrived on june 12th. It's june16th already, and we still havent heard anything from USCIS. Should we be worried? is there any way we could know or ask if USCIS got our files?
Thanks in advance, i hope everyone gets good news asap :)
