Green card has been approved, we want to travel to Canada and visit friends. Do we need still need a travel visa to enter Canada?

Wife is authorized to work. Doesn't have ssn tho. She's looking to find a retail job for the holidays. Applications require ssn. What can she do? Thank you.

Okay so, I submitted April 17 2015. Notice date July 13th. The date I have on the letter I received with the card combo was July 17th 2015. And it's sent priority mail, so I probably got it 3 days after that date. Hopefully that helps and gives you an idea. I also received an interview waiver so, I don't know if that changes the speed of things or what.

We checked her status and says it was delivered Oct 11. But we didn't get it. We are really stressing.

Hopefully the card shows up in time. When I get a minute I'll see how far apart the card came after the notice.

Her status says it was mailed out Oct 7. I did add trip protection for her flight, tho. Fingers crossed.

We got the letter of action saying advance parole and work authorize were approved. But nothing's else has arrived. My wife leaves next week for trip back home. Air fare has been purchased. I'm getting worried. What can we do.

Once she becomes a US citizen she can petition for her mom, once her mom gets her green card the mom can petition for the daughter as long as she is still underage.

It's best to do it at least 2 weeks before your I-94 expires. If it's within 2 weeks or after your I-94 expires, then you have to wait for your EAD or green card to apply for a SSN.

It expires tomorrow. I'd like to get her on my insurance at work.

I misplaced my NOA2, where can I get another copy? Or can I just omit it when filing AOS? Do I need it?
