So my wife and i filled out all the forms a year and half ago for the I751 petition, and today we received a letter stating we need more proof and we have until December 10th.
They want the following proof: leases in both names showing joint occupancy or deeds and mortgages in both names showing joint ownership, property, life or health insurance documents, utility bills, and or loan/credit cards from the time we were married. The only documents i can get for even close to that time period would be life insurance. I did not put her on my mortgage because i thought i would have to refinance it. How do i get all these documents from the time we were married if i did not do them back then.

actually it was a friend of mine who went through the k1 process a couple years ago but he ended up going through a lawyer instead of doing it himself

That's great, sounds like the people I was listening to may have misinformation.

my fiance arrived in the United States last Tuesday so I decided I would look at the k1 visa flow chart.I noticed it showed that I should get a Social Security card for her as soon as possible but people are telling me that the Social Security Department wont even talk to us until we get a green card. I guess I'm just wondering what the process is now if the flowchart is incorrect.

Does anybody know when i can put my fiance on some type of medical insurance? She just arrived in the United States on a k-1 visa.
Thanks.

Do you need an appointment for the CFO class?

I just wanted to thank everyone on this post, I was waiting for more than a month and in one day because of the help here I got an interview for my fiance. I used auto refresh plus on google chrome.

I didn't know if I should schedule 2 days or 1 day of hotel rooms, it is rather confusing. LOL
-
Does anyone know how long the exam lasts?

I have never, ever seen a date.

So basically you have to wait online to get an appointment? Will the embassy ever give you an appointment if you don't go online and wait forever? I was told that a large number of appointments for the interview are done by the people at St. Luke's. Was I told incorrectly?

You can only pay online if she has a account with BPI otherwise you send her the money via western union. Then she has to print up the proper voucher to take to the bank. They only take pesos. They will stamp her receipt and she will have a receipt number which you will use to schedule a appointment. It takes 24 hours to post on your account.
Thank you very much for the insight, this is really confusing.

I was wondering which is the easiest way to pay for the visa fee? Can I pay it online or do I have to send her the money, via Western Union.

You can schedule an appointment for your fiancee, the reason why they ask for a Philippines address because that's where they will deliver the visa to once it's ready. if you prefer to pick up the visa they'll have automatic To Go pick up addresses set up for every town/ city once you click them. I don't think you do need to pay the visa fee before you can schedule an appointment if you are referring to the VRP receipt number then you leave it blank and just click continue
Thank you very much for your help, this is rather confusing.

www.ustraveldocs.com/ph to schedule an interview and medical exam is suggested to be done at least one week before your interview
I have seen a lot of people trying to schedule an appointment for their fiance. I was creating an account but it kept saying it wanted a Philippines address, so I figured that my fiance should create the account. It also asks for a receipt number towards the end, do I have to pay for the visa before I can schedule an appointment?

Hello everyone,
I have a few questions, first of all, how do you set up an interview in Manila? I am not understanding the money receipt for the interview. Finally, How many days before the interview do you have to have the medical exam.

i do have her as my beneficiary of my 401k, utility bills, and my life insurance, but these will not do i guess. We just put her name on the bank account back in Feb. the reason i never put her name on my account before, is that she had her own bank account. I cautioned her about this before, but she is very stingy with her money. I did try to get her on the loan for the car we got in 2016, but they would not approve of the loan if her name was on it. So it isn't like i didn't try, ####### just keeps happening. The whole thing that messes with me is that they want it all from back in 2014. Well we just got married in late Nov. of 2014. It's crazy that they will not accept my tax returns unless i send W2's along. Heck the IRS accepts them. It's not like i'm a lawyer or anything so i really don't know what I'm doing here.
