  1. My thought is there will be big jump in the last quarter of the fiscal year. The reasons are:

    1. They need to make sure they use all visas allotted for this year by end of September. (October starts new fiscal year 2016). So they are catching up to make sure they exhaust this years quota.

    2. Obama new initiative on streamlining immigration process is catching up and they are cleaning lot of loop holes (process delay) in the application process. That is why we are seeing lot of updates on websites.

3.There is also some talk about capturing unused visa from previous years. I am not saying it will happen right now but it at least reminds USCIS / DOS that they are required by law to use allotted quota of visa when there is sufficient demand.

I think there is good chance that by September 2015 the dates will move to PD June/July 2014 for F2A. I won't be surprised if they become current also.

  2. Hi guys,

I need some advise here. I am the petitioner for my wife F2A. We just received welcome letter and completed the DS-261. I have the following questions.

In the list of documents it says to provide previous marriage termination (divorce) documents for the applicant but it doesn't mention anything for the petitioner.

In our case I was previously married / divorced and have a child from that marriage. My current wife was not previously married.

Do I need to submit my divorce document and my child's birth certificate? or is it applicable to my wife only?

Anybody in the similar situation? Please provide your experience or thoughts. Thanks.

  3. I am now able to access payment portal but fees are not invoiced,

Up until about a week ago I wasn't able to get in and was getting the termination message.

    PD 03JUNE2014

Same here PD April 10, 2014.

Able to access payment portal but fees not invoiced. All other links shows "case is not eligible for further processing"

May be they improved the website to get rid off that ugly "termination error"

  4. Hi everyone. I just called to the nvc and I was so lucky to talked to the kindest representative ever. After holding on for a long time she told me the visa bulletin will be released on 1st June. That's why we still see the upcoming visa in the website is May. It's quite sad because i still don't know my interview date. But for sure it will be in June.

The visa Bulletin was never released after the 15th of the month. I think there a statuary requirement for them to release it by the 15th of the month for the following month so that applicants can plan for the interview.

The bulletin will be released by this Friday.

The lady might be referring to the availability of visas from June 1st not the release of the June visa bulletin.

  5. Thanks mate for the link...just got approved yesterday and joining the group for the NVC stage. Not really sure how the whole process goes for now but i guess the first thing is for me to get the letter first. But hope i can get any assistance from you guys! Thanks everyone

Please quote your PD in all the posts. If not it won't make any sense to others to understand your case. Thanks.

  6. Really freaking out now...just got approved. Such a huge relief. Please anyone at the NVC stage should send me the link so i can join the forum...For all that are yet to be approved just be patient it will come just hang in there...Thanks for all the encouragement!

Guys, request to all...please include your PD either in the post or as a signature /time line so people who are reading your post can understand. Without quoting PD it doesn't make any sense. Thanks.

  7. The May 2015 Visa Bulletin is out.

    http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/law-and-policy/bulletin/2015/visa-bulletin-for-may-2015.html

Unbelievable. Our priority date is September 4, 2013. Can't believe this, so unfair.

In my opinion it is all USCIS. The Vermont service center sat on the I-130 applications too long and recently realized, NVC was ready to process those applications. They just transferred all those cases to other service centers recently.

Now all PF after Sep 2013 has to wait till those I-130s (with PDs in Sep/Oct 2014) are approved and sent to NVC. This will take atleast 30 to 45 days. Then we can see some jump in the PD in June or July bulletin.
