I've heard this same thing from a friend and was confused about what she meant by long form. I sent the normal one given to me at an health center close to me. It's greenish in color. Mine was issued over 30years ago, a small paper , just like a receipt, and NVC accepted that of my kids and I. We dint have a problem with it, i don't know why others should. I hope this helps. Had our interview in September, CO requested for DNA for our kids and my husband. My question is, will there still be another interview after DNA results is ready? Our status on ceac shows READY since August up until now, a friend who's going through the same process says her's shows AP. I want to know if it's normal for my status to show READY instead of AP? Also how long will it take to issue visa after DNA results is ready? Your comments will be highly appreciated. Thanks all.

It takes about 3 to 4 months is the usual wait. I personally would be emailing them. They have the kits at embassy so no need to delay.

Since your husband has been swab the embassy will call you in. They will swab the children and send their kits to the lab in US. Once everything is analyzed results are sent back to embassy and they will call you back in to give you results and approve Visas.

I know a few who went through this and you must get on the embassy constantly to remind them or your kit so sit there for months for no reason.

We've made payments, my husband's swab has been completed in the States. my children's kit has been sent to the embassy in Nigeria. Its almost 2weeks now since kit arrived embassy. Please i want to know how long we still need to wait? Please i need answers. Thank all.

Please am confused when some people made mention of biometrics and DS260 stamped form here. How do i get this? Please for those of you that has gone through the process, i need help here, my interview is next month.

Y are you saying your friend's PD is not current? your friend's pd is May 2012 like you said, that simply means your friend is current while you're not bcos your PD is May 2013. you'll have to wait till your PD is current before getting IL. Good luck.

A quick question. I have heard they usually send some sort of packet with all the info and details. When should i expect it to arrive. And can i accompany my wife for her interview in the embassy?

Just to be clear I see I was congratulation Niknak for CC my friend also got Interview date that has the PD JUNE2012.

Even we called Tuesday and the lady who was so nice (I had her in tears she was so grateful I thanked her for her hard work during this computer mess. She said we had to wait for bulletin to come out.

So my friends husband calls next morning and wahla interview in September. So they are very happy indeed.
