I really loved this post! It was really encouraging to read at a time when I am feeling really down. Our NOA 1 was April 3rd. I keep telling myself I've waited this long, so what's a few more weeks. It's hard still but I keep trying to think like you said in that post. Life will be amazing soon and we will be with the ones we love. It will all be worth it when we look back on it.

My fiance left 3 days ago... So I totally know how you feel, my heart left with him... but in the same time, the trip really pumped me up. This is the last time I will see him till I am going to be there with him.
Soon I will change my whole life, every aspect of it. I am leaving my parents,my band, my surroundings, my language, my culture and even my continent.

That's sooooo exciting. His visit was so amazing, another peak in what will be an amazing life.
Focus on that feeling and you will feel a lot better.
We've been transferred and transferred people are accepted every each day. Things are moving slow, but they are moving so much faster than a few months ago.
We will be accepted soon, it is a fact. Tomorrow, next week, in 3 weeks .... that's not that long...and from that point, it usually takes from 1 month and a half to two months till you have the visa in your hands. We will be out of this backlog who f**ked with our lives.
    I'm so excited!
Life is good and will be amazing soon.
Congratulations to all the people who have been approved, especially to the creator of this thread. I am truly happy for you. Have an amazing journey and enjoy every second of it.

    NOA1: April 30th
Transferred: August 8th. No hard copy but my fiancé called the USCIS and hey said we are in California.
Just woke up (it's almost 5:00 am in France) and check my email just because I am used to do it a hundred times since we've been transferred. I received an email at 4:30 am saying we are approved!!!!
Please, don't loose hope. I understand it's frustrating that people with NOA1's dates after yours got approved before (I also had this feeling about May filers being approved the last couple weeks), but your time is coming soon! It's a fact!
I am thinking about all of you and I hope you'll be approved really fast now!

First, you went mad because at CSC the approval time was about 1 month at CSC, 7 months at TSC, how can that be possible?
Now your mad because some people with a couple of days ahead are being approval first? damn, the last 3 NOA2 on this thread were from April, calm down you guys.... The whole USCIS make no sense, but it is what it is. I hope everyone get approval, dont care if it is first or last, in front or behind me.

Not to get people down, but i feel that those of us transferred to CSC may still have to wait a while. I count a VJ sample around 150 transferred to CSC. Around 15 or so have been approved at a rate of 2-3 per day. You can do the math, but that will take another 10 weeks to get through the VJ sample of 135 left... if it continues at the current rate.

Wow.... Good morning there.... I know we are all waiting but we dont have to become edgy..
First of all, I am Cristina and I am Romanian, I can understand Spanish but I can't speak it. ..that's why I chose to reply to your first post regarding the signature ticker in English.
Second of all, I dont think you should take personally, I dont know what the translation said, but my post wasnt offensive to you or anyone else. It also wasn't directed towards you .Your post was quoted because i was expressing my shock towards the possibility our case to be affected by it after all we have been through lately. I'm suggesting you to not take everything personally.
Third, this thread is about the transferred files, not the earth quack in California as Texasav8r said it better than me ...
On a brighter note, my fiance will be here tomorrow for 9 days, so I couldnt be happier.
Keep your spirits up. people ... our NOA2 will come eventually.

Doesn't seem to have any relevance any more. Every file has it's own journey through the jungles of USCIS....We are just spectators, waiting for the best. The worst thing for me, personally. is the lack of communication between the institution and the petitioners. Not knowing where are you at... but I made my peace with it in a way because it's just not up to me..
But I'm so happy to see files getting approved, cause I know sooner or later, one blessed day, it will be me... I just really hope it's going to be sooner or at least 5 months as they initially promised.

One common question I see raised here is regarding the logic behind transfers and why some in the same timeframe were not transferred. Here is my thought on that topic:
I have a weekly staff meeting that involves 12 fellow engineers. We go over the status of all our projects (10 - 20 per engineer depending on scope) and determine whether there are any that may be in jeopardy of being completed and estimate the balance of workload. If one engineer is going on vacation or has too many in his queue, then the workload is redistributed. Now, with that said, here is what I think happened at TSC:
    - After receiving hundreds of congressional inquiries, thousands of angry letters and thousands of phone calls, they FINALLY got off their butts and decided to do something. I am guessing they had an all hands meeting within the department responsible for adjudicating K-1 I-129f's and polled the workload. Let's say there are 100 adjudicators and each of them has a minimum of 80 petitions on their desk (Dec - Aug filers) but 30 of them had a minimum of 120 petitions for various reasons. The decision has already been made by management to transfer, to CSC, a number of petitions that would balance the workload among all the adjudicators and place them back on a level playing field. So, the department head made a decision to transfer only April and May petitons as it seemed most fair to those that made the decision. They then asked the 30 adjudicators with 120 petitions to pull all of their April and May files and send them on their merry way to CSC. Assuming all the extras were May and April, that would be 1200 petitions and would also explain why everyone was not transferred. The ones that were not, were sitting on the desks of the 70 adjudicators that had a fair load to begin with.
Those numbers are probably a bit low when you consider we make up about 5 - 10% of the total number of filers. Of course, all of the extra 40 petitons per 30 adjudicators would not all be April and May files so there is plenty of fudge room.
We can only speculate of course, but based on what I see every week in my own working life, that seems like a fairly feasable scenario. We can also second guess their logic behind what is fair or not based on what we see coming from CSC. Are all transfers going to see approvals in the next 2 weeks? No. Will many see approvals in the next 3 - 6 weeks? Pretty good chance. Is it fair to January - March filers (and left over Nov & Dec)? Again, we can debate that. Right now we are seeing many Feb and March approvals and have seen one transferred May (I think he was May) filer approved.
As each day goes by, we will have a better idea of what's going on and can make a better estimate of the time we will all (most all) be waiting.
Good luck to all and I am truly happy for all those who will see quicker approvals as a result of the transfer (those who were and weren't)

    Ok, here is the latest:
Total VJ transfers from TSC - 91
Confirmed Transfers to CSC - 46
    Transfer to VSC - 1
    April Transfers - 46
    May Transfers - 45
    - The only two dates I have seen regarding transfer notices (initial) are 8/8/2014 and 8/11/2014
    - The confirmation hard copies indicating transfer to CSC were received between 8/13 and 8/19
    - There has already been one approval after transfer and that came 4 days after confirmation notice.
Again, sorry for the delay. This represents data as of 23.30 on 8/20 and only what was posted in this thread and a couple that I spotted in other threads.

Yeah, thats a good point of view... much better than wishing other people a longer time of waiting, just cause the system is (imma censor myself)-ed up. The most revolting thing is that we have to go through all this process just to get a chance to be with the one we love.... two people, in love, who just wanna be together, get married and have babies .... We should just be able to do it, we shouldn't wait, we shouldn't pay fees.
But we aren't living in a free world. and the system could not have more flaws. I don't care who gets accepted first, I just want to have my chance to happiness together with the one in love. I really hope this process will get more fair, because we are all TSC fillers and we have all been through the same amount of stress.
I just wish all of you the chance to you happiness.

I did a little research on VisaJourney to see if this ever happened before, and found this topic from a year ago. People who got transfered got their NOA2s a month or so after the transfer. I didn't read the whole thing as I haven't been transfered (at least not yet), but it might give hope to you guys

Ok...last update for what I have seen so far as I am sure it is rather obvious that transfers are happening . I broke the numbers down to give a different perspective by month and as a side interest, by country.
Total Transferred so far - 55
    April - 24
    May - 31
    Bosnia Herzegovina - 1
    Bulgaria - 1
    Cambodia - 2
    Canada - 3
    China - 1
    Colombia - 1
    Dominican Republic - 2
    Ecuador - 1
    France - 1
    Ghana - 1
    Guatemala - 1
    India - 1
    Indonesia - 1
    Jamaica - 3
    Japan - 1
    Kenya - 1
    Mexico - 2
    Morocco - 2
    Netherlands - 1
    New Zealand - 1
    Peru - 1
    Philippines - 1
    Romania - 1
    Russia - 2
    Saudi Arabia - 1
    South Africa - 1
    Ukraine - 1
    United Kingdom - 14
    Vietnam - 2
    Yemen - 1
    Unknown - 2
I know that has no bearing on anything but many people seem to wonder where petitions are from that are being handled. So there it is.
I will track where the petitions end up as well but if I see them all going to the same place, which I suspect they will, I will just leave it at this.
Good luck everyone and keep those TSC transfers coming. Next step NOA2!!!

Actually I meant wine...helps calm the nerves.
I was saving Champagne for the celebrations later during the NOA2's but hey, always a good time for the bubbly
    Cheers

I think we should just wait and see what happens, we dont even know WHERE we have been transferred and what does it mean.
With or without a source in the USCIS, everyone is well aware that the backlog will be fixed at one point and previous history shows that it will eventually happen again.
In a few days, we will find out where we've been sent and in a couple of weeks probably we will see some movement and maybe see people getting approved.
    Good luck, everyone.

I'd say don't worry about it! I'm positive that CSC will approve you guys before recent filers. They have to work in order, according to NOA1 date. I was just joking! Hopefully we'll all get approvals and be with our loved ones
And I didn't realize we're both marrying Tennesseans Go VOLS
