  1. It took us just 3 months to processed everything after we filed our application last June 2014. God is soo good to us. We got our noa2 49 days after we filed, got our MCN after 8 days we received the hardcopy and scheduled our Interview and medical last week and We are approved. My interview went so well. All the consuls asked only few questions about us maybe because i have a complete documents.Hopefully next week , i can have my Visa on hand.God bless everyone.

  2. Hi, my fiancee will send his documents to me next week through Fedex, I just want to ask if where is the branch that are accesible near US embassy Manila coz i'll stay at Casa Bocobo hotel and will it arrive 3-5 days talaga? Thanks everyone. Appreciate your comments so much.

  3. Hi yanyan, you can call them using magic jack, what we did with my fiance is we both called them at the same time,7:30 pm here in the Philippines and 7:30am eastern time, We are able to get our case number after 8 business days from the day we received our noa2 hardcopy. Try to call them if fiance is busy, you can't wait for the Manila embassy to send you a letter, it will take months Goodluck

  4. Hola to all the June fillers!

I am at this point of waiting to get a notification from the NVC telling us that our case has been transferred to the embassy..I am beginning to feel stressed because its been three weeks since we got our NOA2 and the case was transferred to the NVCCalling the NVC is an impossible mission as the never answer or you stay on hold and waiting forever. We will probably send an e-mail butdoes anyone know a way to contact them? can we speak to the embassy? how long is it normal to wait? They say this part of the process is supposed to go faster.maybe I'm just beginning to freak out again thinking that something might have gone wrong?

    Thank you!

hi, 8-10 business days after you received the NOA2 hardcopy , you can now call them. What we did is we called them everyday and after 8 days , they give us our Case number, be patient to wait till someone is going to talk to you. This is their contact #, (603)334-0700. Goodluck

  5. Hi. We received noa2 and it was sent to nvc two days ago. My fiancee was just getting documents for interview ready and noticed on her birth certificate that when we filled out the g325a we put the wrong name for her mothers maiden name. Her mother left her and her father when my fiancee was young and passed away. My fiancee didnt know her maiden name or date of birth when we filled out the g325a and got that info from a family member but now that she looked at her birth certificate maiden name is wrong. Her mothers first name is correct. Im panicking that this is going to be a big problem after we have come so far. Im worried they will see the name doesnt match at the interview. What should we do?

hi! I'm a little bit worried too, our papers was already shipped to NVC, we are now waiting on our case number, i just found out that i entered a wrong spelling of my fathers name, it won't match on my birtj certificate, would it really affect us? Would they consider it as a typo?:( i mean, would they just give importance to our information both petitioner and beneficiary?i hope it won't make a big deal during my interview too.

  6. Pray and pray..thats the one thing you can do for today. During interview, you must be honest, tell them how sorry you are before about your pregnancy, tell them why you lied about it during medical, be sincere for everything you'll say.. you know CO, they are just human too..they can understand, they have emotions. Goodluck to you. And let us know if you got approve.:)

  7. Thank you for making this thread:) I'm a nurse too here in the Philippines, though we haven't receive our approval yet, i'm thinking already about my documents too in school and other requirements that i can bring soon. What are your plans in the US? Did you take your masteral already?

  8. Hello all! I recently found this site a few weeks ago and it seems helpful for preparing me and my significant other for the long process. I would like to make some friends on here that could help me make the process as easy as possible for my girlfriend and I. I would prefer people that have been through the process fairly recently (last few years) and live in north Georgia, although I won't turn good people down. I am waiting on some forms from her then I will start the process next month. The Philippines was just hit with a hurricane so it will slow her down a few days.

Welcome to VisaJourney. Goodluck to your application.

  9. If you are the petitioner than I would start getting the evidence of relationship (pics, emails, mail, Skype chat, yahoo chat, phone records, receipts, airline tickets with both of your names or hotel bookings.

If you are the fiancée then get your birth certificate, NBI, cenomar, passport, police report and whatever else that's required for interview.

I had my fiancée get all her stuff after I filed so we were prepared and I started gathering all my stuff. If you have any questions just ask me. My fiancée arrived here in usa on 6-26-14. you can look at my timeline and my topics to see my reviews of medical, interview, and CFO.

Your timeline is very informative.Thank you.It gives an idea what to do soon. You waited only for a month and 4 days for the NOA2 which is good. Hopefully we will hear ours soon.

    Good Luck

  10. We have just received our noa1.I would like to know what I can be doing now to prepare for the next step. Vj had helped so much so far thanks to all of you guys for your help.

Just like you, we received our NOA1 earlier this month and now i am waiting for the NOA2, i keep reading some posts here on vj..it really helps! I'm starting to gather our proof of evidences just to be ready even if i still dont know when will be the approval stleast im prepared already. I started to jot down what to do after the approval and so on for me to have the idea what are the process to be undergo soon.. I'm positive about this.:)

  11. Looking at the stats for August and late 2013 when wait times between NOA1 and 2 where in the 2 to 3 month range makes me wonder what's going on at the Texas Service Center. It looks like they have slowed down to a trickle. It's taking them like 6 months on average. This delays the entire process to 8 months or more.

    What's going on?????

For now TSC has a backlogged. I heard that they are still on Dec 3rd cases so expected it will take 5- 6 months or more of waiting.
