My wife is a permanent g/c holder in married name,her Colombian passport is in maiden name . Getting tickets to Mexico, question should ticket be in passport name ? And carry green card and copy of marriage cert ?

I'm confused , it does state persons over 80 can be exempt from interview. If she is able to get exemption , how does she submit her supporting docs?

I have a couple questions regarding the b-2 visa process . My wifes grandmother will be applying for it thru the Bogato embassy . My question is she is 81 , will she have to attend an interview at the embassy? I know that the application is done online now , if she does'nt need to go for the interview , how does she get her supporting documents in for consideration , she owns her home and has a sizeable pension .

Im looking for advice, my wife and I are trying to bring her mother from colombia to massachusetts for medical treatment. My wife has her permanant green card and is eligibel to get her us citizenship ,but has not taken the test yet . Her mother is a retired teacher and does get pension . She has been diagnosised with cancer and her prognosis is not good . We would like to get her to boston for medical treatment and also to spend her last months with her grandchildren . What route if any can we/she persue , is there any chance for her getting any type of visa? Any good advice would be greatly appreciated .

What is the process to bring a relative here for a visit ? My wfe wants to bring her little sister here for a visit , my wife is from Colombia and her sister still resides there . has anyone had there aos transfered to calif and been approved yet? my wifes was transfered there almost 6 months ago,we have heard nothing,other than notice that it was transfered. cannot find any processing times @uscis,since all they show is aos for employment, does anyone have any idea about processing times, anywhere to call for info ? any help appreciatted, jon

My wifes aos has been filed and transfered to California, my question is this , her 3 year old boy was listed on ,129f and then on i-485 , he came into the country after my wife, his i-94 expires jan 07-07. Ive been told that i have to send in the i-485 for him also, but there should be no fee for him ,because he would be a rider on her aos petition ,because he is listed on all documents? do i need to send fee along with his i-485 ? and how much is it for a child?

i cant seem to get a straight answer, my now wife came in on k-1 visa , her 3 year old was given a k-2. her k-1 , expires october 9th,06, that is not a concern now that we are married and have filed i-485. the question i have is that her sons visa expires october 9th,06 . we are waiting for her i-131 ap to come in so that we can go back to colombia and get him . we were under the impression that the k-2 visa holder can follow k-1 visa holder up to one year ? what do we do if the a/p does not come back in time ? does the k-2 visa expire ,when the k-1 visa expires? i called the visa center and they are just customer service people , they can give you no specific answers, just frustrating. need help and info ,asap. thanks jon
