  1. However all in all, I think you are on good path! Analyst/Consultant is great career choice, it can be stressful time to time however it is in demand all the time and the pay is decent after having few years of working experience. Just a tip you should also get on the website called glassdoor to check out all the pay rate of your local companies. For example, in ATL the start up pay rate for analyst (full time should be from 65 to 75k, contractor should be around 30 to 35/hr) If you do contact a local recruiting firm, do not let them talk down the pay scale that you deserve!

    Thanks for your response.

All other responses for more suggestions are welcomed!

  2. I am a LiveSite Performance/Web analyst.. I would say that first of all most companies prefer education degree from universities in states, being in math major is a great plus however I would see if i can earn some equivalent degree here. Second, you need to be more specific on which analysis field you want to be in, for example, business/data analyst requires you to have skills in SQL, Oracle, statistics; Web analyst requires you to have experience in Web analysis tools (Omniture, WebTrend, and etc) So I would suggest to stick with what you have right now, and accumulate more working experience, and do some research to decide what you really want to be in in terms of your career choice.

    Thanks for the reply.

I have sql(oracle) knowledge also i have java programming knowledge.

i recently learnt tool tableau for data presentation.

I am trying to get data analyst or price analyst position.

Do you know any temp agency where i can contact to get job?

  3. I am just wondering if anyone can help me here.

I am working as sales analyst for startup for last 4 months as a part timer.

I am trying to target data analyst/sales analyst or any kind of analyst position in America but all in vain.

If somebody can guide me about temp agencies who help place analysts in market.

Is here any data analyst who can guide me ,what skills are required to achieve that goal? I have major in math from home country.

What are the suggestions for career goals for math majors here.(not interested in teaching)

    Thanks

  4. 1- No, but you might get questioned about your marriage. uscis reviews your entire A-file when you file for citizenship, and they check they way you gained your PR.

2- keep the proof of the bona-fide marriage.

3-Nothing will happen to your status if he surrendered his USC

    Thanks for the reply

  5. Hi all,i just got 10 year green card two weeks back after removing conditions by i751 and my marriage is on rocks.None of us is planning to divorce but may try to resolve issues back in home country(our people back in home country are not getting along and it is reason of fight between us,we are planning to go back and sit with all ,try to resolve issues). But i am not sure we will succeed in that or not.

    1. I want to know if we separate right now then how will it affect my citizenship.I am planning to file under 5 years rule.

    2. Will they ask for marriage documents at that time or will they ask about proof that i entered in marriage in good faith or why problem is created just after getting permanent green card because i just removed conditions 2 weeks back.

    3. Also if somebody can guide me,what happens to my status if my husband decides to surrender citizenship(which he has stated few times although he does not hold dual citizenship, because he has unstable mind.I have explained him many times that first get home country's citizenship then surrender US citizenship but he is not willing to listen even when i talk about his own benefit). So if he decides to surrender US citizenship will i be able to stay here and apply for citizenship of US on 5 years rule.

    God bless all.
