JoKhAnPw got a reaction from Sunnybeach7 in Texas Service Center working on 11/16/13 applications as of 5/13/14
Though the processing life-cycle is 5mos, that timeframe does not need to be exhausted. There are several reasons we have heard/read from news in the past which caused the extreme backlog. Meanwhile, we wonder what has been done...it seems that the bottleneck just narrowed down to the present processing. I have no idea how one type of Visa-application can have priority than the other types, how CSC service center can process more rapidly than TSC, how DACA program got special attention...etc when we are all citizens, in the process to petition/legalized a loved one.
Imagine, if we were all to 'walk this process physically', as if we were lined up to each of our appropriate service center, do you think we would see equality and fairness while we wait? I asked this because, as a citizen who actively support and give my time helping others and my community, who always worked hard and paid whatever is due (to Uncle Sam)...would really feel disappointed if I see someone with an illegal-status pass me to get their paperwork processed for legalization. It is just a thought and I am still being patient <March 2014 Filer>
