  1. I guess I don't know what to do. Can anyone advise me on what to do, please?

I applied for I-129F Nov 21, 2013. NOA1 Dec 2, 2013. Alien Reg# changed April 8, 2014. After 6 and a half months since applying I file a service request since my application is outside of the normal processing time. Today I get an email from USCIS excited hoping its the NOA2, nope. Instead its a notification stating my address has been changed! What!? I did not request an address change, my fiance did not request an address change. I frantically call USCIS, the woman has no real answer for me. She doesn't know who or how the address request was submitted. She doesn't know what the address was changed to.

She told me to mail TCS asking them to verify my address is correct. Is the the best I can do??

I'm so nervous my application will expire and they will just tell me to file again. Am I jinxed or what?

If anyone has any suggestions please share. Thank you.

    Don't worry for that.

On May 30 2014 I did an e-request and uscis response me 14 days later saying my case is processing by an officer.

4 days after they sent me an e-mail with my approval. I'm so happy.

I have been waiting 7 months, well, 217 days for my Noa2.

    See my Timeline.

I hope your NOA2 the next week. Keep the faith!!

  2. Hi dear,

I also want to make e-request. MAy you teach me how to do? I heart that: before we sent e-request, we must call them first? Am I right?

Hi, to do the e-request is easy. You have to do it in the web uscis.gov and click to the link: e-request and follow the instruccions. It's very easy. After 18 days they approved my case. I received the NOA2 yesterday.

    Good Luck.

  3. Hola!!!

First of all congrast for ur approval :)

Can you help me? I'd like to make my e-request too...

    How can I do that??

    Gracias :)

    Suerte.

  4. I contacted my congressman asking them to make an inquiry. Was approved 23 days after the congressman responded to me about my inquiry. So 23 days as of the date of the letter from my congressman. Maybe a nudge from your congressman's or senator's immigration liason may help. I so wish you the best of luck with everything. You can call the USCIS and ask for a second tier CO but they may not be able to provide you with any information other than a simple yes or no.

    Thank you!

Uscis reply my e-request an hour ago.

    The email says the following:

"Your case is currently under review and is actively being processed by an officer. You should receive a decision or notice of other action within 60 days of the date of this letter".

I hope to have a definitive answer before 60 days!

  5. Congratulations! My NOA1 is November 12 and I'm still waiting for my NOA2. I have 7 months waiting, I did not get RFE. I'm still in Initial Revision. On May 30, I made an online e-request, I have the confirmation code and I have until June 21 to answer. They have not sent me any email with relation to e-request saying if they are working or not my case. I'm desperate. You think I should call them before 21 June or wait?

    I need your advice, Please!

  6. Definitely fill out the USCIS e-request on his behalf. It should only take about 5 minutes. You will recieve an email and it will tell you the deadline for them to reply to the email. That doesn't mean that you will have a decision by that time. If you need any help feel free to message me!

    Perfect. I will do that!

  7. Hi Alexa,

I am in MA, my fiance in DR and we filed in late October and received our NOA2 4/30. I think they must sort applications by beneficiary's country and the petitioner's state. The MA/DR combo seems to be very slow. There is another user here and we have very similar timelines. She's from MA too. Anyway, I would call USCIS all the time and they just kept saying we had to wait, there was a severe backlog and they were saying it was taking 6 months instead of the typical 5. Fill out the service request ASAP. It's just an online inquiry in to why it's taking so long. Or have your fiance ask to submit a service request since it is out of the normal processing time frame. I also contacted Congressman Lynch. The woman I spoke with at his office was very very helpful. I was approved the day after I spoke with her, so she didn't even get a chance to contact them about my case before I was approved. But I am sure she would have helped if there was anything she could have done. You are past the processing time, don't let them take their time. Here is the release form he will need to fill out, good luck, and don't fall behind by just waiting! https://lynch.house.gov/serving-you/help-federal-agency. Remember, you don't waste anything by doing the things mentioned here.

many thanks for your valuable information. I appreciate it and I'm glad to hear that not only I have waited more than 6 months. you think that I can make an application for review online? because I am the beneficiary and my fiance does not have time for his work.

I appreciate your advice, thank you!

  8. You're fiance won't get much traction trying to talk to USCIS support at this point. If your fiance is in Texas, have them write a letter to Ted Cruz's constituent services office explaining the situation, including the privacy release form. http://www.cruz.senate.gov/?p=agency_assistance

It seems Senatorial requests is the only thing the director at TSC pays attention to.

... and provide them with the TSC contact info contained herein: http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/88027.pdf

... and then call them a week after you mail them asking if and HOW they have tried contacting TSC.

Thanks for the information but, my fiance lives in Massachusetts.

we are willing to wait until mid-June. if we did not get a response, then we will do what is right.

  9. If you are outside the 5 month processing time then I see no reason to contact them and ask what the deal is. It should have been approved by now

Well, my fiance will call them tomorrow, depending they will say him, we will try to do

    The most convenient for us.

It's unbelievable but, we sent the form I-129 with all the documents required,

Proof of our relationship by around 4 years, proof about our daugther and her citizenship.

    I am outraged :(
