Hello lovexthine what city are you? My POE is Ohio as well. Just waiting for my visa. Hopefully it arrives ao asoon. Plan to fly on last week of January.

Hi. Im here in Youngstown, what u mean poe is ohio? My POE is Dallas. How's ur process been doing so far?

OMG! Its hard. From the province, van ride took us 4hrs going to Naia Mnl airport. Then as we enter the airport, waited for checkin to open. As it open we lined up, and he's crying already. Cried for almost 2hrs, cant do anything about it, tried every possible way to calm him down. Then during flight goint to narita, he slept on his own seat. Woke up aftr an hour, then cry again. Carried him then althroughout th e flight as we landed the airport. He doesnt want to walk. The hardest part was walking through the airport carrying him and our bags. Durng layover, I gave him some toys that saved me. So thats one very impt. Thing. Bring new toys. Then he again slept the flight going to Dallas, 12 hrs flight, he slept for 10hes out of it. Tip is as u were seatwd together, lift up the arm rest, arrange the small pillows and blanket on the plane they provided,then let him lie down, with his feet on ur lap! That saved me. I was able to sleep. Another impt. thing, dress him comfortably and in layers. He puked at me twice during the flight, and its good that I dressed him up in layers. Always have a handbag or diaper bag with bottles of milk, foods or treats, toys, diaper, baby wipes, and towels. Have it always handy. Always ask for a bottle of water from the airline staffs. U can use them.

The hardest part again is our layover in Dallas. Im so stressed out and tired. The airport DFW was so huge... A lot of people and long lines. As we were lined up waiting for turns in immigration, hes crying again. Its a disaster! Im walking as fast as I can as we finished every step. It was a pain in the blank to carry him and two bags. Good thing there were still a lot of good people who will help u on ur bags. Woohoooo! Thank God! The last leg of the flight was the hardest part. I think hes already tired and as we sit on the plane, he started crying again lasted for one hour. What I did is go to the cr and danced him to the sleep. We landed after 2.5 hrs and he's fast asleep that I need to wake him up. The walk again, ride the train to the baggage claim and saw my husband approaching us. Oh well, it was thw happiest moment. Then I knew I could rest since then. It was such an experience. And I know I deserve a pat on the back for doing a good job. One more tip, dont hesitate to ask questions on the staff, esp. Like me if u were a first time flyer on an international flight with connecting flights too. So yeah, you can do it. I think more people on the plane were considerate enough to understand and help you as you were travelling with an infant or a child. They would cry of course, get irritated and its normal. Just be calm and you should be ok:)

Oh BTW, our layover time at poe was only 2hrs and 15mins. Spent all the hours from immigration line almost one and half hour and so to the other processes.

Hi. Just arrived here at ohio last night. It was a crazy flight traveling with my 15 month old son, a big diaper bag and a trolley bag. Almost missed the last connecting flight from Dallas to Pittsburgh due to the long lines in immigration, security check and baggage claims. Plus Dallas DFW was a huge airport. Took a lot of walking and using the escalator getting up and down and even used the skytrain to get to the gates. Its stressing. Our plane going to pits boarding time is 5pm leavoing at 5:30. We arrived at the gate 5:20 and as I am approaching the gate, im hearing our names getting paged as a last call for the flight. Good thing we were still accepted woohoo! I think I can consider myself a strong woman doing all the process and flying for the first time with a baby, 2 connecting flights 25hrs in total and we made it. Moral lesson, have atleast 3 or better 4 hours of lay over for ur poe. Immigration lines are slow and long, and I think airports during December is so crowded. So layover hours very important!!

I had my interview Nov. 12 and just got my visa yesterday, Dec. 11. No 221g, everything complete and approved, yet took almost a month. Status issued since night of interview date,.changed to ready twice (Nov.25 and Nov.28) then issued Dec.3 and Dec.5 last update. Be patient. It will happen soon.

Picked up my visa at moa yesterday then cfo sticker afterwards which took only 30 mins. Flying on Tuesday with my 15 month old son. Thanks for all the help guys.

Chose pick up at moa during interview. Been tracking evryday on 2go website and ustraveldocs almost everytime I aint busy. And still nothing.

Yes, he is a us citizen. And yes, ceac status issued

Oh well, I cant believed I'll be posting my frustration again after weeks of waiting and my visa hasn't arrived still. It will be a month since our interview on the 12th. Issued from the day of interview but still,nothing. Sorry guys for sharing my misery. Oh I called embassy thrice and got no real answer.

After receiving passport with visa and packet, do we need to pay the 165$ fee before leaving?

Hi. Updates guys. Just received a text msg from 2go today @5pm that my son's visa is ready for pick up. I asked if mine was with them also, unfortunately it's still on the embassy. What I did is check on ceac and it says "ready"last updated today Nov.28. It was "issued" Nov.24, Nov. 25 and now changed to ready. Was that a good sign or how many more days do I still have to wait? Oh well, hoping it would be sooner.

Hi yanyan. I see but the thing is our status were "issued" the night of our interview date. We're not under AP. USEM staff just said they cant just tell how long would it take for the passport with visa will be released even there are no problems with our case. Its crazy

Thanks iammrsregi. I actually saw your post how to track the visa,but nothing shows up for us yet since visa's still in USEM. I really hope we got them soon coz my husband's so sad as we both thought me and our son could be with him this Christmas.

This is frustrating. Me and my son's visa still not released by the USEM. Had our interview last Nov. 12, approved, no 221g and issued that night in ceac website. Called USEM this morning and said our passport's still with them and cannot tell how long we have to wait for them to be released. They said it was a case to case basis knowing others already got their passport with the same interview date. So yeah, it was just sad waiting without time frame. Husband's heartbroken saying he might spend xmas time alone in US. Oh well..

I filled up my address but as I dropped the slip to the 2Go staff, I asked if I can have it pick up at MOA. She rolled her eyes and said, you should have put Pick-up at MoA while she's writing it on the slip. In my mind, Duh, I didnt know thats why im asking. I just smiled and said thank you.

My NBI was 6 months old at the time of my interview. To play safe, I got a new NBI but then they dont ask me for a new one, just the Cenomar.

Hi. Would like to ask how to track if passport with visa (CR1 and IR2 visa) and packet were ready to pick up from 2GO Mall of Asia. And how many days after interview will the visa be ready for pick up. Had interview last nov.12, approved, and that night issued in ceac website. TIA for the inputs

Had interview last nov.12 and was asked questions which anyone can answer if you know your petitioner very well. Sort of questions like name of petitioner, relationship, when he migrated to US, when he was naturalized, when we met and marriage date and place. As for my 1 yr old son, he just asked me his bday. And thats it, the consul said were approved.

Interview approved today.
