  1. Hi guys,

Well my fiance and i have just sent off our I-129f package to the Texas lockbox on Monday. Have yet to hear anything. She is not working since leaving high school so im wondering will she still need to complete a i-134? Both her parents earn under $25000 each so the combined income is just short of $50,000 for a household of 5 including me once im there. They file their taxes jointly and will both complete a i-134 for me. Is this correct? What evidence will we need? Will i need 3 x i-134?

Please help this is so confusing!

  2. Hi guys and gals,

You have been and continue to be a huge support to everyone on these forums and awaiting a visa interview. My fiance and i are just about to send off our i-129f today (9th June 2014) after a lot of problems. I sent my package to her with my completed forms on Thursday 5th June 2014 by overnight courier which arrived on 6th June. She promised me she would send the package on Friday 6th June. She did not do this but assures me its because she was rushed out of the house rather than not wanting to do it. This caused a huge argument but we have fought through it and are still together. But we do argue about a lot of things and she is struggling to know what to do with herself since i left her on 17th May 2014. She therefore has little to talk about and appears depressed to me, but her mother says it is not depression. Can you guys offer any advice for any of these things? Thoughts and feelings appreciated.

  3. Thank you all for your replies.

I have a slight concern however, nay a big one. Her mother and father each earn about $25000 per year. The household has 4 already and with me coming, that makes 5. Will they count their income as joint in order to surpass the federal poverty guidelines?

    Thanks

  4. My fiancé is the petitioner who lives in Missouri, USA, and i the benficiary who lives in UK. She is 20 and does not work, and has never worked but lives with her parents who are both going to sponsor me to meet the federal income guidelines. What forms do we need to complete in order to fulfil the sponsor requirements? Does my fiancé fill out the I-134 and her parents fill out the I-864 and I-864a? Neither parent meets the income guidelines alone.

    Hope you can help!

    Thanks

  5. Hi guys and gals,

Mathew here, im new to this forum, and immigration in general.

I hope you can all help me. I have fallen in love with a 20yo female from Missouri and recently got back from a 2 week visit at her house, where she lives with her mum, dad and brother. She does not work and has graduated school. Her parents both have jobs paying just above $20,000 each per year. They file their taxes jointly. Can anyone assure me that this will be enough for them to act as my sponsors?

Please allay my fears we will be unable to be together.

    Thanks

    Mathew
