    New Visa Fees and delay in invoices and processing

    The problem is if you have not received your interview before December 11th you will be required to pay the new fees as well. The NVC received our documents right after we received/paid our invoice which was on the 8th of September (we filed the DS-261 on July 28th). Now they say we have to wait 60 days days possibly till they are reviewed, and this doesn't even include the case being completed. It looks like we're looking at an interview date past the December 11th due date. To me it seems like we're being set up to pay the extra fees and there is nothing we can do about it.

    Anyone we can contact to avoid the worst possible scenario?
