  1. Wow, that't bad to know, that nobody know when it's gonna be fixed! Hopefuly soon,I have my interview in two days as well, don't wanna wait for a long time to get my visa in hand!

Good luck guys, and hopefully we will hear a good news from them!

I see that you have your visa, so you had no trouble getting it? My fiance went through interview August 6 but they asked for background check from Portugal because he lived there for two years. So we just got it and we will send it back to them, but thats all they needed so we should be getting our visa because interview was fine.

  2. If you meet the requirement through income alone, then no assets need to be listed. You can leave the whole section about assets blank. No bank statements needed. Assets are optional, not required.

If you are self-employed, they will look at the Total Income, line 22 of the 1040. If you are an employee, then you use your current income and provide a letter from employer and/or recent pay stubs to prove it.

Well I am like $400 short on the tax form because I was in school full time. But I have bank statement and letter from the job. Should I get a sponsor anyway? Or I will be ok?

    Thanks

  3. We wish you guys luck. Ours is 1 week after. We really hope the visa in hand goes back to normal

Thank you our timelines our similar. We have sent papers April 15 and you guys did too. We were supposed to have interview August 13 th my fiance called and asked to reschedule earlier they said no dates available. And then called and change it to August 6th. So I am happy for that. Hopefully everything goes good!

  4. My fiance submitted our RFE reply on June 19 by Priority Mail-1 Day. Based from tracking,CSC received it on June 20 around 11am. Early of June 21 (Sat), my fiance received an email and text message from USCIS stating they received our RFE reply and USCIS website case status says: Request for Evidence Response Review

    Hoping for NOA2 soon :)

I have send ours express mail and got text and email June 18th. So our dates are close together :dancing: I hope we hear back soon! Good luck to all of us here!

  5. My fiancé said that they approved of our case cause I wrote such a "Hallmark" card about how we met, that they were afraid that I'd write another sappy love story if they don't approve of it! LOL!!! It was one page long, very detailed with references to pictures and receipts with the correlating dates that we had met and did things together while I was there in his country. No doubt about that we had met when I said we did.

I think I heard grand sweeping music in the background as I was writing it! Reading romance novels did paid off! Our case was approved in a week!

. Lol that is so funny. I know I was writing my love story too. So hopefully we get an approval too?
  6. Good day fellow April 2014 Filers. Congrats to all NOA2 and Visa Approval!!

We received the RFE letter today:

    =====================================================================================

Intent to Marry: Submit evidence from the beneficiary that she plans to marry the petitioner within 90 days

of the beneficiary`s admission in the United States.

Evidence of the beneciary`s intent maybe a statement, wedding preparations or other evidence

that clearly establishes the couple`s intent to marry.

    ======================================================================================

We submitted the Letter of Intent to Marry when we filed for I-129F using the guide in Visa Journey. But to reply in this RFE

we are planning to submit the following and use the return envelop included in the RFE letter.

    1) Letter of Intent to Marry (Beneficiary and Petitioner)

    2) Letter from the Priest who will conduct the Wedding

Any feedback/idea will be much appreciated

    Thank You.

I have received my fiance signed paper, and he wrote another letter in more details on our wedding plans. Both signed. I received it and put it in envelope with the letter that I received from USCIS and send it express today. So hopefully everything will be good and we will have our approval soon.

  7. Do you both have TWO letters of intent? One from both the petitioner & beneficiary & signed in ink respectively? Detailed doesn't seem to matter, so long as you state your intent within 90 days of arriving in the US.

I have had both letters of intent, but my fiance send me his by email and I just scanned it. And I read here that it has to be original signature. So I am thinking thats why. But I am thinking what else should we send along ? To show more proof. Because this RFE: Intent to marry: they need evidence from the beneficiary that he plans to marry the petitioner. May be someone have ideas on what else I can send.

    Thank you!

  8. We received the RFE letter today.

I have exactly same RFE. And I don't even have a Priest, because we are just planning to go to the court house and have very small wedding. I am just planning to write a more detailed letter of intend.

  9. Thank you, I received an email at 9:30 pm that we were approved, I did not sign up for text so I wouldn't spazz out when at work or it would have been an unprofessional "Excuse me but I have to check my phone" kind of moment ^_^

I figured any day now and though it was not a 2 week speed approval

2 moths is great considering how long we have been on this journey. Took us almost month the first time around at CSC.

Wow, I see more and more people receive emails later at night. It's interesting because I thought they have business hours. Well any way... any time is good :)

  10. Found out 5 minutes ago......APPROVED :dancing: Second time around for us.

    Off to NVC.

Refiled .... it has been a difficult and very long journey. We were stuck in AP the first time around for 16 months, then refused

the visa and petition expired. Hope to succeed this time around.

I am so happy that you are approved, and it has been a very long journey for you guys. Did they send you an email of approval or a text message or both? I hope everything will go fast for you guys from now on!

  11. hello all.we got our NOA1 on march 31,vermont servise center, since then we got nothing, its now june 3,i ve read about getting alien reg number, what is that is everybody supposed to get it,i dont understand, over 2 months wait for NOA2 seems really long time,i read people usually get in in 2 months or less, thank u all

I have California office and My date was April 18th for NOA 1 I know its faster for California office then other ones. I guess all we can do is patiently wait. I know it is difficult, but I hope we will hear from them soon. And alien registration number its a normal process everyone gets it.

    Thank you!

  12. I'm sending in my RFE tomorrow(sending the stuff supposedly that was sent already evidence that we met). Received the signed Intent to Marry Letter from my fiancé(again). Let's see how long it takes for them to touch my case again and how long before I get approved. Wish me luck!

Lena , everything will be good! It should not take long usually couple weeks! Good luck and thanks for all the updates !
  13. Got my NOA2 today! Excited, but also freaking out a little bit. I planned on this taking a while and this could change things a bit! I am happy to move on from obsessing about this wait to the next one with NVC.

I am very happy to know that someone got approved this week. For me it's already a good news. Because we all in this together! Congratulations ! Good luck on your next step!
  14. Don't be sad...it's feels devastating when you get the first RFE. It's especially upsetting when you feel like you sent in everything that they asked for. I was only so devastated and upset because I trusted my lawyer with handling my case and I still got an RFE for not having it.I know for sure we hand signed both of our Letters of Intent to Marry and gave it to the lawyer. I know cause my fiancé sent it to her via mail so she would have everything she needed to file our petition. I didn't sleep for two days after I got an RFE! But now I'm taking matters into my own hands and will not be needing the lawyers assistance in my case anymore and I feel so much better! It just means that I have to send them what they need to process and approve my case, not a straight denial of my petition!

Like I said my fiancé will be sending me another signed letter via mail..that will take about a week, but at least he's sending it straight to me so I will have it and submitted to USICS. Make sure you get the signed Letter of Intent to Marry from your fiancé if you get a RFE for it so you can send it in ASAP! It just causes a slight delay in the process but its not a denial so that makes me happy! Chin up and let's keep on going...I know that's hard to but we're all in this together!

I am so glad that at least we all here together on that. It helps out to so much. And I agree that we don't really need a lawyer to do this work for us. Because it seems like every time someone working with lawyer they get RFE almost all the time. I wish good luck to all of us, and we should all get our approvals some time soon :)
