  1. Well we are on the 3rd day of our issued status, and we decided to go track my wife's visa/passport. We went to the site http://ustraveldocs.com/in/in-niv-passporttrack.asp to track where her visa is currentlyat. We did both option 1 and 2 and I have recieved the message "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted." Is that a common passport status for most people? My wife also called 2Go and they said they don't have it. My wife thinks the embassy put the Issued status so we wouldn't bother them about our AP status. Any thoughts?

  2. Embassy Contact Information

    http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwhnv10.html

    local number: 632-301-2000 extension 5184 or 5185 ( 011-632-301-2000 ext 5184 or ext 5185 )

The Embassy’s main trunk line 301-2000 is experiencing technical issues and prone to congestion. If your call can’t get through please use these numbers: 301-2166 or 301-2177

For visa appointment related inquiries, please contact the Embassy’s Visa Information and Appointment Service at (632) 982-5555 or (632) 902-8930.

    ** (703) 520-2235 (this is a USA number)

For inquiries on a specific case, please call the Immigrant Visa (IV) Unit's during normal business hours, except between 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m.

    NEW EMAIL ADDRESS

In order to serve our visa applicants more efficiently, we have created this new e-mail address:IVMNLAppointments@state.gov , for early appointment requests and visa scheduling issues. Please note, however, that early appointment requests will be approved on a case to case basis (i.e., aging out cases, or in cases involving personal or medical emergencies), and only if visa interview slots are available.

For other immigrant and K visa concerns, please send an e-mail to IVManilaReplies@state.gov

    .

To enable us to electronically sort the messages and provide better, more timely responses, you should follow the instructions below.

The subject line of your email should indicate the visa applicant’s last name, first and middle name (ex. DOE, John James), case number/USCIS receipt number, visa category and priority date.

Messages should be limited to 500 characters or less. The mail size should not be more than 15 KB.

Do not submit documentation or attachments with your message as our system is unable to receive inquiries with attachments.

Do not send your inquiry more than once as duplicate inquiries will congest our system and delay our response time.

I have also tried 2166 and 2177 and get the same message. I have called the 703-520-2235 # multiple times and they were no help but I guess because that was for appointments.

I have e-mailed IVManilaReplies 2 weeks ago and still no response.

  3. Has your wife gotten her visa yet?

My wife had her interview on may 14th and went through the AP process because she didnt have my payslips and W2(I dont remember that being mentioned because Affidavit of Support only required tax returns for the past 3 years) and we dont know how long the AP process takes in the philippines.

  4. Hello,

I am trying to call the embassy but after it rings for a little more than 10 sec it will say

"The number or code you have dialed is incorrect, please check the number or code and try again"

I am calling the number they have provided for US citizens which is 632-301-2000 but I have always got that error and not once been able to contact them.
Is there something wrong with the number?
Also I think it might be the extension....when do I type in the extension, i though the extension was used when you contact the call center or receptionist.

    Thank You

  5. My wife went through her interview and at the end told her that her visa process is pending because she did not have all the required documents meaning my payslip and/or W2. She sent those documents a day later and the embassy recieved it the day after that. On the CEAC site says we are on Administrative Process.
Now during the process of USCIS, NVC, and maybe Manila Embassy I had an expedite (Because I am going through a military PCS overseas).

My question is that how long does this process usually take and does an expedite (if any for AP) have any effect on how long the process takes?

  6. After my wife's interview in Manila Embassy for a CR1 visa, the consulate told her that she was missing my Pay Slip (which i do not remember seeing that as part of the required documents and sounds more like the Tax Return for the Affidavit of Support form).
We had an expedite for most of our processing through USCIS, NVC, and maybe Manila Embassy due to me being in the military and having a permanent change of station in 2 months. I am trying to bring her into the US as soon as possible so that I am able to bring her with me to Germany. How long does the process usually take for them to actually process the missing documents (which just contains my W2 and Payslip) and is there any contact # for the manila embassy consulate?
