I'm not knocking anyone here, but I was just thinking that it's probably threads like this that make newbies feel that VJ has "cliques".

Not saying I agree, just pointing it out....

I'm pretty new here, and this kind of thread thread doesn't bother me in the least. Just shows that there were some very nice people out there who helped a lot of people, then moved on with their lives! I'm sure there are many many people who are missed, but forgotten.

Haha! I was just thinking that all the teachers out there must be loving this one! My head used to itch when I even heard that one of the other classes had a head check. In fact, my head is itching now just reading about it!

If they want to put a sign in the window, that is fine with me. If the people can read it/ understand it, then they know to order in English (I'm talking bi-lingual people, not illiterate people). If they don't like it, go across the street and buy from the other place. I would hope that if someone who genuinely couldn't speak it, and were a tourist or a new immigrant, they would help them out while ordering.

I know when I went to Austria, I struggled to order in German. I did a horrible job, but the people there were nicer to me than my friend who just tried to order everything in English and was pushy.. Maybe Geno's had a lot of pushy people that refused to attempt to order in English.

The refs blew that game. Argentina second goal was offsides. and they should of had a penaty kick when Argentina foul him.

Not good for France.They still have Henry though. Wasn't Liverpool supposed to sell Cisse off? I thought he ended the season on a good run, but there were still rumors.

France is an "old team", so I don't think they are going to get past the semi finals. I'd like to see England and Brasil in the final. England winning, of course.
