  1. Call again and get the Invoice Number as well. After like 3-4 days, you will log into your case using this link https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx (you will need the case number and the Invoice ID Number to log in and fill out choice of agent form) Than call in like 3-5 days, call again and confirm the agent with the representative and once that's done, continue to make payments on your case and it's going to be much quicker now. That's good to know right?

  2. I had applied for a visitor visa in 2014 but was rejected. My sister is a US citizen and has filed a petitioned which has been approved since 6/xx/2016. And I know I have a long wait until I get called by NVC. Now I have just applied for F1 visa, and is scheduled for interview. Should any of the pervious affect me in getting my student visa?

  3. HI, I received my NOA2 text message on June 30, 2016. Yesterday I received NOA2 email notification. I've called NVC to see if they've received my case and if they assigned any case number/Invoice number. They said they don't have the case yet and it may take up to 6 week to receive the case.

    Question

    1. How long does it take from USCIS to NVC receiving the case
  4. If one wishes to take Nail Technician course which is about 3-4 months long, is this allowed on visitor visa? There's no credit earned. Sister in law would like to do this so that when she's done, she will return home and help with her sisters business which is cosmetology (beautician) she get the brides ready for their wedding and some party makeups.

  5. I had submitted Copy of original Nikah Nama (was not notarized) as well as Marriage Certificate issued by Official Government, now they are asking again for Nikah Nama. Should I submit that same copy again? (this time I have it notarized) I have gathered old school records which has my name, as well as old pictures with parents. I am also planing on send copies of parents passports, siblings passport copies, along with copies of birth certificates, Approval letters of them from USCIS. What Else can I include?

  6. I always advise people to apply and see. Every person is seen differently from CO point of view. At the same time, being so young, and unmarried are two Big Red flags. Unless you get married and you apply as a couple to visit U.S.A., than things are seen differently. From CO point of view, every one is seen as intended immigrant and they cant just allow everyone to let them in their house would you?
