My I-130 was approved May 29th and the NVC received it the 4th. I called the NVC a few times a week and they told me the case number was issued June 24th but they told me to call back to get the IIN. I have the case number, IIN, and I gave NVC our email addresses but we are still waiting to do anything. NVC has had my file for almost a month now.
I called them once and they put me on hold for 10 min and I disconnected the phone. I will try to call them again and talk to someone. It is intresting that you still can not pay the AOS and IV fees while you have the IIN.

NVC is behind now because the USCIS was playing catch up. Seems like each phase is taking 30 days....30 days for case number, 30 days to process AOS, and 30 days for IV/ case complete. Hang in there everyone! We will get through this.
I still did not get the case number from NVC since June 12th (approval from USCIS). Did you receive the case number with invoice number at the same time? I am so tired of this long process.

It's taking a few weeks for the NVC to assign a case number. I would call to ask if they have giving your case a number as of yet.
So, I am going to call them either today or tomorrow. Do they have automatic operator or I can talk to someone directly?
Beside Case number, What else should I ask them about my wife's case?

Which service center are you all at? My PD was Jan 31 at Vermont and we were approved last month. :/ Good Luck to you all!
I did not receive anything yet from National Visa Center since June 12th (USCIS approval message and received the letter few days later). Should I call NVC soon or just wait a little more?

Congrats, what was your pd? Vermont is pretty quick.
Thank you, January 29th was the PD for wife's case. Hope other services move faster like Vermont.

I received the NOA2 email first then the letter arrived a few days later. I then called a week later to see what day they received my case.
I received the USCIS approval in June 12th via text message and email and received the approval notice letter few days later. The notice mentioned that they forwarded my wife's case to National Visa Center for visa processing. In addition, It mentioned that If I did not hear from National Visa Center after 30 days, I can contact them.

Congrats! You are getting closer!
Married4Life13, Did you receive an email or letter from NVC?

So an update on my case....I received email from NVC stating that I can now pay the processing fee of the AOS, I-864....YAY!!!! not long now...
After USCIS approval, How long did it take to receive a notification from National Visa Center?

I received a good news right now from VSC. my wife's case is approved. Good luck for petitioners that they are still waiting for approval.

Just got our notice of approval, too! VSC as well
Such a happy day!
Congratulations!!!!!! Hope to get a good news soon for wife's case. our PD is January 29th

I already submitted I-130 for my wife and received the PD which is January 29th from VSC. I always check the status of my case online and still in initial review stage. The VSC processing time on USCIS website mentioned that it will take 5 months or less. If your PD is around January 29th, Did you receive decision letter from VSC yet?
Do you prefer to call them soon or should I wait a little more?

Hello All,
Finally, My wife got the interview date (December 28th 2014). She would like to complete the medical examination in advance (one or two weeks before the date of interview). The question that I have,
How many days in advance that medical examination can be completed?
She has to go to US. embassy in Abu Dhabi, UAE for her interview. I appreciate If someone can assist me for this issue.
Thanks All.
