  1. Seriously speaking, what's going on with Delbros nowadays? There's a lot of complaints lately. Maybe it's time to collate data to document the complaints and then we can write the embassy about it.

I agree with you PW.I think the embassy should be aware of that .The delay cause too much anxiety to the people waiting for it.I think the embassy have also a system that once they have done releasing your visa , they should have a tracking too that people can look at , just like the one where we can look for our interview. That will be great if they can do that.It cost alot to call them and you can get anything except an answering machine.

Anyway hope it will became better in the near future. Were on the new age , access to information is very essential...

    Just a thought : )

  2. Yeah u can handle it. i knew how it felt and the excitement after the interview. But since cellphone is not allowed, then she can cross at the street and look for a phone and give u a call.and that calls for celebration. Were 3 that time and all went fine so treat ourselves with yellowcab in front of the embassy..eww...nerve cracking experience..but the interview itself is really easy.took 5 min or less.

Probably she is sitting down looking for her # to flash in the queueing board...

    relax... she will be alright.

  3. Jackie try filipino travel agency.. i got my ticket at 664 net.Bound for Jax.

the # is 5284504-08.Look for Maricel. They will give u a first time immigrant rate which is

    cheaper.

    goodluck.

hello everybody. thank you to all of you here. i got my visa today. i cant just leave my work i want to fly on may 25 onwards. can i ask from anyone of you here what travel agency did u book for a ticket?
  4. Hi all. We (jackieadam and myself, and two other non-vj girls) finished with our interviews together today. we were in queue by about 430am, but only got in around 7 (which was okay.. that was our appointed time anyway. AND, because we were early and attentive, we were among the first 10 in the 7am slot). Some people inside the embassy are really mataray, but thankfully the prescreener, fingerprinter and consul were all nice.

The consul told me "Please wait til we call you again, good luck!". The same consul told my friend "Congratulations."

Now I'm paranoid. haha. I did pay the delbros thing, and the girl at window 37 did tell me "Everything looks okay.. for now. Just wait and see if your visa arrives." so I'm still hoping. Only one got AR, and she sort of knew it would happen because her st luke's test results didn't make it in time (she got her medical the day before!). 2 out of 3 companions isn't bad, so.. hopefullly it was actually 3 out of 4 people.

For now, I'd just like to think we got an OK :)

Time to make kulit the delbros page!

Hi update my case, Im approved. the question was easy and the consul was happy.Actually i saw Iya there when i heard Panlilio while waiting for finger scanning. But i was on the right wing of the room and so I just stay where i am at.

Saw one VJ member there boch (Jesse and Dyanne) and they also approved.

Thank God now take a deep breath ( sigh)

For those who are waiting , just relax , its not really hard as what we expect for. They dont even take a look at my other back up papers like emails and chat... And dont forget to pray :)

  5. Yes i can relate to this...Made several inconsistent call , not to mention its 55Peso per minute for non informative answer.

But yeah takes PATIENT to deal with these people who should be giving us the exact info we are needed , not ripping us off. grrr...

Anyways goodluck and hoping there will be some changes in the future on the system... should be easy not damn COMPLICATED...

Nobody in the United States Immigration is competent to work in Walmart or a fast food place.

NVC notified me of sending to Manila Embassy on 12/12/2006 to arrive a week later?

First letter from Manila Embassy: dated 12/15/06 claimed petition arrival on 12/12/2006

02/05/07 Immigration Visa Unit notified my U.S. Congressman: Interview at end of 05/2007

02/13/07 personal call from U.S. Senator’s staff to expect Interview at end of 05/2007.

02/14/07 at 8:30PM CST read approval online at U.S. Embassy:

Since this government love messing with me, I plan to file action to strike down EMBRA: JUST FOR FUN.

Conclusion: The Manila Embassy staff was consistent in misleading U.S.Congressmen and U.S.Senators, I applaud them in being consistent LIARS.

Thanks to everyone who has encouraged me to be patient with my Princess. She was from the Providence in a very small town, never dated and I was the first to kiss her. My Princess recently confessed that other women, who were jealous of her position to come to the USA, had been giving her bad information on Americans. Probably most is true for ones adventuring to Angeles and party bums. But, American men looking for a wife are a far different breed of men.

I have never gotten anything for Valentines. But, I was shocked as my bride was set to leave for the Providence tomorrow morning. We are Promised in her local church and pronounced husband and wife before the Eyes of God. Married? Yes in God’s eyes, but not according to my states, USA and Philippines. I have been clairvoyant al my life and told my wife that she would know of visa approval by her birthday 04/16. She scoffed at me, then I told her the color of her clothing that she would be wearing to the Interview. She asked me how I knew of this outfit as she never wore in front of me. Go figure… haha  Please no fortune telling requests: Most psychics are fakes.

Yesterday I just got my pre interview letter from The US Embassy. I just wanted to know how long it takes for you ladies to recieve your packet 4 since the time you recieved your pre interview letter.I understand that we have all different lenght of time, at least an idea will help :) And one more inguiry, I have with me my NBI clearance already and I got the notations stated "NO RECORDS ON FILE" I'm totally confuse if I need to obtain an official letter of explaination from the NBI, it said only on thier requirements that you only need to provide them the official letter of explaination if you have any of this notation in your clearance "NO CRIMINAL RECORDS", NO CRIMINAL CONVICTION", " NO PENDING CASE", or DEROGATORY RECORDS.

I hope to get some help here.

  8. Hey Bud,

I think theres no problem in getting a taxi or the waiting .But to make sure, you can either contact

a local taxi operator who can wait for you or arrange the trip for you.

My fiance made his surprise visit last Nov and he just flag a taxi in the airport and works fine.

I can recommend you a travel agency that can help you out for taxi thing, email them and

    they will wait for you.

    http://www.filipinotravel.com.ph

Nissan and Avis taxi is the best choice for taxi in the airport.

Or the best way is let the hotel where you gonna stay to arrange a taxi for you.

    Hope that will help .
