  1. I haven't called.. i will let you know once i called. I'm depressed too cause i got into an accident on wednesday and i have to go to court for this cause im the witness, it's pretty big deal cause of the other party did not have license nor insurance.....

I'm very stressed out and depressed about to shoot myself... i hope he can get here before the court date.

Bad sign to talk about shooting yourself. You need to stop those thoughts. We have been doing this since Feb of 2013. NVC got our case on 3-4-2014. Alot longer in this than you so your lucky dont forget that.

  2. Thats very late... that's like late october...but hey still congrats....

I should call today to check if anything scheduled.. I hope mine is gonna be early october or probably have to request to reschedule an early interview...

I hope they can grant it. I have to go to court in october.... too stressed now

Yep way late and we were hoping early Sept too. We're going to request an early slot after we get the email. I would like to know if they scheduled yours yet and when it is. I am so burnt out on this. Sorry guys but i think i'm depressed, no joy in my life anymore.

  3. Good For You ! And Kudos for keeping up with yer own thread !

I hope she gets scheduled before the end of August, for sometime late in September. If not, cycle September/October.

Just got our CC Emails (one for Wife and one for my Stepson). Yes, 7 days after CC.

Is the interview date notice, going to be sent in an Email or snail mail now for EP filers in china? Will it be Emails to both of us? or letter to her in china from the consulate? I dont know what to expect?

  4. I heard from others that if you did electronic processing, they will email it to both the petitioner and beneficiary, or if you have lawyer, then to all of you guys. they don't do snail mail for EP.

I hope so too... this way is faster...:idea: then we won't have to worry about the lost mail or something... I hope I will get it before Friday.....then we will know how it goes...

I don't know why china is different.....and idk why snail mail is slow compare to other country and takes few months... it seems they are not busy cause on their website, they still have august interviews open for IR1/CR1 cases... :sleepy: and they replied to my msg within few hours... :wow:

it would be good if its all emails now. I have read and read but I still dont know.

Good to know they have open interviews in August. Maybe we'll get early September interview.

  5. YES!!!! you guys should get something by end of this week, it's just me and "steve & zhi" are quite different.. our cases are both china....kinda nervous cause other people told me it's within a month for scheduling....keep finger crossed with you guys!!! can't wait to be scheduled, then I can stay calm.... lol :secret::secret::secret::goofy::goofy::goofy:

Yep, I hope for soon too. Just not sure how we'll know, but I think the consulate send a letter to my wife in china with the interview date.

I'm hoping you get your notice 4 days before and then we'll know from what you find out. Today is day 7 from the case complete for us and still no email. The closer we get the slower the time passes.

  6. It is likely that the case file is still in transit from the National Visa Center in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. In general, the transmission of an approved petition from NVC to the Consulate can take four months or longer. Please contact NVC via email at NVCInquiry@state.gov to see if your case is under review. Other ways to contact NVC can be found http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3177.html.

This is what I got from guz embassy. I emailed them today asking about the case, and they replied and that was really quick response.

I think that information is on the consulate web site already also. I read that some time ago. I also think the 4 months or more is old information for snail mail filers not EP filers. Have you looked at the country specific forms for china? I have a few posts there asking about the EP time frame in china. The last time i updated my post there, the ancient ones on this site, told me maybe september interview or early october.

It's really nice to have another petitioner for china with a CC date so close to ours. Within 4 days is pretty close and i hope to learn from you as we go thru this.

  7. ugh.....but should I still wait for the date though? I just sent an email to the embassy, they will respond within 5 days.. but their website says we have to wait till they contact us regarding the interview date and the instruction.

I just asked someone who did IR1 in china, haven't gotten response yet.

Not a lot china cases in this forum though.... I check your excel, the last two China cases, it took 30ish days from the CC to interview..30 days from

30 Days from CC, Wow Good, so is that middle or end of Sept for us?

  8. idk??????? I thought NVC doesn't schedule the interview, once cc, NVC will contact each embassy about the CC and they will wait for the embassy to schedule the interview and notify us? is it supposed to be this way?

each embassy schedules its own interviews, I don't think NVC schedules the interview. I might be wrong.

it was email, if you are EP, then it will be email. check out my previous post which I replied to "dwheels76"

he said china we have to opt-in something...really? do you have any clue?

I have read that for China you can either opt-in for EP (Electronic Proccessing) or not. If you have a GZO number and Not the GUZ number you are on EP. I think if you did not do EP and the Files go to China from NVC thru the mail then there is a good chance the files will get held up in chinese customs for 1-4 months. I have also read that for China the NVC sets the interview date after checking with the consulate so they message back and forth for the open slots. This is different than most Consulates in other countries. But for the most part this is what i think i know from reading, Everything is subject to change at any time without notice lately.

  9. 21-AUG-14

    Dear Sir/Madam,

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

    Sincerely,

    Director

    National Visa Center

this is what I got this morning regarding the case complete. It took them a week to send this email. nothing about interview...

Was that in an email or snail mail?

  10. fedex is more expensive I think? I'm gonna use DHL, it's $80 and takes 5 days. I can't trust fedex and usps. they do lose stuff, especially usps. they lost at least 5 of my packages and they didn't even care.

anyways, I heard the scheduling window opens next week; so we might get something by end of next week. they don't schedule in the mid month. sucks! even though I get CC 4 days earlier than you, we will end up with similar interview time. So CC in the mid month = not good.

but good luck. Hopefully we both can get the September interview. They still have august interview slot....so I would think September is not full yet.....=):idea:

my last package to china was $80 also with fedex. I will look into DHL (5 days great) thank you. NVC phone operator told me the interview notice will come in an email. One email for case complete with iterview date and list of things to bring to interview. Is that what you expect also?

  11. oh i have not yet rec'd anything. but i just thought it might be too late when i find out that they do need my birth certificate. it takes 3 weeks to get it to china...

so it is probably safe to mail my stuff back i guess so my husband has it just in case.

Hi, We are doing China also. CC date is 8-18-2014, 4 days after you. I called this morning and NVC has no news for us. I hope for interview soon maybe septemeber. I also have a big package to send to my wife for the interview. All the originals but I'm waiting for the email incase they ask for something new. I think it takes 2 weeks for fedex to her in china, that was the last time I sent her mail. i am not sure if USCIS sends our files to the consulate, i would think so but that question is not clearly answered here.

  12. Hi does anyone know how long it takes NVC Eletrionic to open and review the EP filing Emails.

The NVC phone operators say they don't know anything about EP (Supervisors too) .

I waited 31 days to get the emails that changed the GUZ numbers to GZO numbers for China.

Then I emailed the AOS and IV and filed out the DS-260 with the new GZO numbers that day, two weeks ago May 23rd.

So is it 30 days to get the confirmation and then 30 days for them to open the emails with the information in them and then another 3-4 weeks for them to look at them?

    90 days? for emails?

or are they looking at the emails now?

CC on the phone today as of this morning. So yes 90 days plus the first 30 days for the numbers to change.

  13. Plz I need help !!! I got checklist for AOS for empty spaces, just now spoke to an agent , first time she told that she cant help i hav to fill again and send it o NVC i requested her couple of times and asked if she can do any help or she can transfer the call to the supervisor bcz its frustrating that i am getting a check list for such a thing. she put my phone on hold for some time and then after she told me that anyway i will get a check list e-mail for this but I can do one thing,I will get a case complete and i hav to submit my new i-864ez at the time of interview.

Is this possible?? what i should do if i am getting an email with checklist to resubmit the form, should i submit or should i just wait for them to review my IV docs and then to expect a case complete?? plz guys help

From what I've read the NVC only collects the documents to be sent to the Consulates. They will only check list the AOS or IV packages 2 times each then send on what has been submitted. After that your on your own to pass the interview with what you have submitted or are told to bring with you to the interview. So in your case I think she helped you from waiting again for something you can take to the interview.

Some one correct me if I'm wrong.
