  1. OK I can be ridiculously cynical too. Are you doing this because you are looking for examples to forge documents?

Nope... I specifically asked to redact the confidential info. But you have a right to assume whatever you want.

You yourself prove your own point, you need to lighten up and give yourself a VJ rest.

Thanks Doctor, but no happy pill for me. :) Thanks for stopping by though! CHeers!

  2. Guys and Gals... this is getting interesting... not 1 single person who claimed to have received their NOA2 so quickly has posted any proof! All I've gotten is a bunch of defenses, explanations, excuses and name calling. I'm a troll apparently for wanting to see proof. And here, I thought this forum was supposed to be supportive... when I asked to support your claims, I received none.

I give it a few more days, until I rest my case. Would someone please shut me up and show some proof?

OK so two people kind of thought you may have a point...I wouldn't call that several. And one of those people found 1 suspicious timeline from someone who never answered her?
I give up....go be paranoid. Enjoy life, if you possibly can, but I imagine you're probably too cynical to do so.

:) Thanks buddy. Sorry you wasted your time here with a paranoid and cynical person. Cheerio!

  3. SO...who exactly has agreed with you? I don't see any +1 on ANY of your comments. You're just making demands of everyone and if they don't give you the proof you so desperately need...you accuse them of being a possible liar. Pretty sad. Anyway...have a good day. I hope your timeline goes quickly for you...if not, you've got a long, anxiety ridden road ahead of you.

It's not about +1's for me guys... don't you get it why I made this thread?

This person agrees it's suspicious NOA2's are being received so quickly:

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/496517-received-noa2-prove-it/?p=7014283

And this person says I have a good point:

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/496517-received-noa2-prove-it/?p=7013957

    :)

  4. You demand of others to post their proof, but it's ok for you to say "if and when you decide to post your timeline".

As and when I receive my NAO2 i have the right to post it online or not..........i will be choosing not.

So, can we see proof that you actually have a K1 application in progress?

Yes, you certainly have that right, no one is taking it away from you. But making such a claim (getting NOA2 in 2-3 weeks) that gives people false hope, at the very least you can do is prove it's real. I can provide proof I have K1 in process, but it's not interesting for someone that I filed a process, what is interesting is that NOA2 is received so soon by others, while all the rest of us have to wait months. This is the purpose of this thread, not to prove anyone filed a process. If you want, create a new thread asking for people to prove they filed the K1, we'll see how important it is.

  5. Its a HOT topic because everyone is telling you NO...or don't be ridiculous. Has ANYONE given you the proof you so desperately need. If you're that insecure...I feel badly for you. And no, can't say I'm gullible...just don't think that everyone is out to lie.

OK guys lets stop feeding the troll!!

Asks for proof, refuses to even fill out a timeline....again I say silly

You're not correct. Not everyone who visits this post says something, and secondly, several people agreed with my point. Speak for yourself please, not for others.

No one has provided the proof, this proves my point exactly, they may be lying! I'm insecure for asking for proof? Hm... lol... now imagine a defendant tells his attorney, hey... you're insecure for asking for proof! lol, this society has become a bunch of whimps who are afraid to investigate and find truth, so the world is deceived constantly.

I'm not obligated to fill out any timeline, but if I did, and you asked for proof, I think showing people there is hope would be totally OK. Anyone can throw around.. "Hey, Got my NOA2 in 2 weeks!!!" and feel better than you.

If you don't think everyone is out to lie... can you admit that some people are?

Amazing world I live in, when asking for proof makes one a troll.

  6. Sounds like a scam to me, why in the world should someone upload their NOA2 to prove a point. It is their personal business you are too out of order. I think you are up to no good. You don't even create a timeline for yourself, but you want to know other people's business. -_-

Dear Ingrid... It seems like you missed that part in my post where I asked those who do decide to back up their words, to redact (black out) the confidential parts of their application. All I need to see is that they received it, I do not care for the data on it!

If someone makes a claim to have received an NOA2 within 2 weeks, yes, I ask them to back this up... I have not made such claims, so I am under no obligation to prove anything to anyone.

If and when I decide to post my timeline, you have the right to ask me what you want as well.

  7. LMBO, this is funny! Why on earth would anyone lie?? People come on here for help...and if they're lying then they wouldn't get the help they need. It would just be silly...kind of like this thread!

Why on earth would people lie? Are you serious? What world are you living in?? Probably one where you get deceived alot if you believe everyone is honest. By the way, thanks for taking the time to contribute to this "Silly Thread" which is now a "Hot" topic overnight for a reason. Perhaps, we're not all as gullible as others would like us to be.

  8. I think most timeline u see is from filipino like me (Philippines), most of us got our NOA2 in just a month and the others for just a week, reason why it's because of typhoon haiyan that'####### our country. So I don't think those person your talking is lying about it. Anyway have a good day and stay relax

would you be so kind to upload your NOA 2 (with personal info redacted)? It would be most appreciated. Thank you. :)

  9. There is an average time frame for a reason...

    Some fast. Some slow.

So go by the time frame and no proof is needed.. I sure would not give any of that info. All of us VJers are like a support family and no need to lie.

You speak for yourself. You can white out any personal info on the approval notice. So it's not a big deal, but if you want to keep blind optimism your motto, I'm not gonna stop you.

  10. I think you need to step away from VJ for a while.. everyone else's good fortune can drive you insane. I've been there myself.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will pass on that. :) Thanks for feeding me the milk of human kindness, but I will stick to my request for proof.

Those taking the time to fight my comments, are probably those who are most afraid of loosing the false sense of hope, that it's possible to receive an NOA 2 in 2 weeks, sorry, but reality is, without proof, you're just believing some letters on a screen.. it's called hopeium. :)

  11. Why would they lie about this?

I don't think anyone will upload their noa2 to prove anything to anyone. Sometimes people just like to share their happiness with everyone here because it's only users on this site who would understand the real torment of this visa process

If believing the world is a happy fairytale and everyone is honest makes you feel better, fine.

But do you deny there are people out there that are just sour and want to feed their ego by creating a false story? It would be naive to think everyone is honest. I would have absolutely no problem uploading my NOA2 if someone asked me, simply because, I know there is alot of deception out there, and being naive doesn't help. If you want to believe everyone at their word, good luck in life!

  12. Alot of us here are patiently waiting to receive the long awaited NOA2, and there is an unpleasant feeling knowing the members of this forum are stating they received theirs within 2 weeks, or in some other short term period within 2 months. From what I heard, some people are just feeding their ego and lying about their NOA 2 date. So I ask that if you're gonna write about receiving your NOA2 earlier than most members of this forum, to prove it by simply uploading a copy of your acceptance certificate (white out your important info). This way, we can separate the egoists from the legitimate approvals. Thank you :)

  13. Hello everyone,

Thought I'd write a little post for those who need or will need to access skype records on their Mac Computer to prove contact and communications with your loved one.

First and foremost, please ensure your chat history is being saved by opening Skype > Preferences > Privacy. In "Privacy" Section ensure that under "Save Chat History" Menu, "Forever" is selected.

Now if "Forever" it's selected, all your chat history should be saved to the following location on your Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Skype/

To access this path, simply go to: Finder > Go > Go to Folder then paste the path into the field and hit enter.

I recommend backing up this directory in it's entiretly onto a USB Drive every month, in case your hard drive crashes or you get a new computer. All your chat files will be inside a folder titled same as your skype name, but again, don't save just this folder, but every file and folder in that directory path I provided above. As long as these files are there, you should be able to open skype program and just use the edit > find feature to search for key words from your past discussions to jump months back. Or just highlight the text and drag your mouse up to the top of your screen so the window auto scrolls (may take some time to scroll all the way to the first chats you started).

To take and save screenshots of the chats, use apple's inherent "Grab" program.

Good luck, and remember, always make a backup (on a USB) of what's important.
