Hi. My husband just told me he received an email earlier and I check and saw that a card was ordered and is in production. I received the interview waiver letter few weeks ago. I am not sure if I am to feel excited or what cause I didn't receive and update that said my case was approved.. Just this update now that a card is in production.

Checked my mailbox this morning and a Potential Interview Letter was sitting there waiting for me.. Seem like everyone is getting this letter, it do have it pros and cons but I believe that the cons outweighs the pros.. Good luck to everyone.

GOOD MORNING.. I received a text notification this morning say..Your case XXXXXX is now updated. Check "My Case Status" at www.uscis.gov.. But when I singed in the status remains the same that I was from biometrics was taken.. By the way this is for the I-485 does this happen to anyone else?

Hi. My card was sitting in my mailbox since Friday waiting for me. Uscis took forever to send me an update and that the P.O delivered my card. I am so happy and thankful tho.

People who filed after me got approved before me, It seem some workers try to complete their assigned cases before the end of the expected time period.

Received my receipts hard copy yesterday. Hopefully I will get my card by Tuesday.

Congrats. By Wednesday your card should be in the mail. They tell you one-two weeks but you will get it way faster than that hopefully.[/quote

Lovelyus1229 when did you get approved? We have almost the same timeline. We haven't gotten anything yet and I have seen a lot of people around our date get approved, I am being patient tho bUT I'm reaching my limit lol. Congratulations to all on the approvals

Hey. I was approved on August 14 but before my timeline said it would be between August 22 and 25 so hopefully you will get approved today or early next week.

Whoooo hoooo I went back to the SSN office provided my ID. I got the number yes yes yes!!! He said the card was mailed today so next week ill get it whooo hoooo

I planned to go back my country on Jan 2016 so I may go head and file out my AP application. I thought it was 4-5 months to AOS but actually its longer.

I wish it would be in the 4-6 months time frame bcuz its hard to pay for classes without financial aid.

I agree with Lorvin that update maybe entered by 3rd parties cause I recall getting noticed in K-1 on the weekend. Fingers cross for everyone else including me who's awaiting approval.

I did only my CXC- i moved here when i was 16.

My friend however had CXC results plus credits from utech. She was in the same situation as you (did tourism in Jamaica and switched to medical field up here). I know she got both evaluated and the credits from Jamaica help with some of the general requirements. If you did well in school out there I'd advised you to get them evaluated- they may help shorten the time you spend in school up here.

Yes. I believe in education even if you will not work. Anything can happen. Best to be qualified.

Ok. Thank you. did you evaluate a degree too or just CXC? My problem is that my degree is tourism management, mostly business related course and I have science subjects in cxc, so I'm wondering if I should just evaluate the CXC only and get into a community college and do some prerequisites since I want to get into health care or it wouldn't matter which as long as a level of education which is high school or higher here in the U.S.

I'm running from having to pay two currier fees for each, the transcript for cxc transcripts and the degree from my college I wish the evaluating service had live chat so I could ask if it's worth getting the cxc evaluated since I have an associated degree. Hope I'm not sounding too confusing.

Have any one from the Caribbean evaluated their CXC or degree? I have both CXCs and a associate degree. If anyone got a similar evaluation done, can you please tell me the U.S. Equivalent please. I know I may have to get an evaluation done but I would like to know what it's worth in the mean time.

Congratulations on your approval. I bet you are so happy to be there with him through the entire embassy process, just sharing all that nerve racking nervousness and then all that heart warming happiness to know you are approved.
