What data suggests low demand for the years you mentioned?

Mostly in several annual USCIS reports its mentioned that there was low demand in those years without giving any number as it helped them reduce the pending backlog petitions in those years. 2 factors are also mentioned as reasons for low demand; 2007 3rd quarter application fee increase and recession in 2008.

  2. ROW - 75 days movement July Bulletin. In 10 months this fiscal year, there is a 485 days movement so far as compared to 3 weeks monthly average previously which amounted to around 210 days movement in 10 months previously. It's almost double the pace for ROW. Showing low demand so far hence the faster movement. For next 2 months, 1 month movement is projected.

  3. "Data and Projections

Charlie bases Final Action Date movement on the performance of each category over recent months, as well as his visibility regarding employment-based cases pending at the USCIS National Benefits Center and those already forwarded to the local USCIS field offices.

Following an early April 2019 meeting at the National Benefits Center, Charlie will have additional data upon which to base the Final Action Dates in the May 2019 Visa Bulletin. If that data demonstrates shifts in the demand trends, Charlie may alter his projections for Final Action Date movements through the second half of the fiscal year.

    Family-Based Preference Categories

Charlie expects movements in the family-based preference categories consistent with those in recent visa bulletins. However, he cautions that we should not get too accustomed to consistent rapid forward movement in these categories. Charlie remains concerned that the lack of apparent demand in many of these categories, which is causing the dates to advance more quickly than usual, may eventually result in a great amount of demand materializing all at once. If this were to occur, it could result in an abrupt retrogression and lead to volatility in some categories.

Charlie recalls that this phenomenon occurred in the family-based preference categories in Calendar Years (CY) 2009 and 2010 when the U.S. economy was lagging. This economic slowdown caused low demand for immigrant visas, which in turn, spurred rapid movement for family-based categories. As the economy improved, the demand for immigrant visas heated up abruptly, causing a dramatic retrogression during the second quarter of FY2011.

In particular, there has been unusually rapid movement in FB-3 and FB-4 Philippines, each of which advance six months in the April 2019 Visa Bulletin. Those who practice heavily in the area of family-based immigration should consult “Section D. Final Action Date Movement” on page 8 in the visa bulletin for more details on Final Action Date movements."

    It's for f4 immigration Visa

Now I am confused do we need police certificate or no

Cuz on civil documents its say they want canadian police certificate and pakistani as well ?

    1. Provide what you have been asked from the authorities. Ignore the generic website info.

    2. If both addresses are in the same city then IMHO certificate from last address should be sufficient.

    3. 2 different cities then provide one from each city to be on the safe side. A little bit of extra hassle can save you from long delays in the process later.

    4. Decision is yours.

    Hi,

My PD 03 May 2006(Rest of world), According to Visa bulletin Jan2019 Table A,it is not current where's but for Table B,it is current.Which one is applicable?

It is a month now since that bulletin is out but no news yet from NVC.When do they issue notification? Plz comment.

Current for Table B (Filing Date) has 2 meanings:

    1) That if you are in the US legally then you can adjust status with I-485

    2) That if you not in the US then you should receive mail from NVC soon. Make sure they have your current and updated address and contact details.

No idea how long it's gonna take. May be recent applicants can help.

This kind of movement has never been seen since the start of the filing dates in Oct 2015. Looks significant but don't know the exact reason.

Looks like a low demand for next few months hence the faster movement.

    E.  VISA AVAILABILITY IN THE COMING MONTHS

    FAMILY-sponsored categories (potential monthly movement)

    Worldwide dates (except oversubscribed countries):

    F1:  Up to five weeks
    F2A: Up to one month
    F2B: Up to two months
    F3:  Up to two weeks
    F4:  Up to six weeks

The above final action date projections for the Family and Employment categories indicate what is likely to happen on a monthly basis through May.  The determination of the actual monthly final action dates is subject to fluctuations in applicant demand and a number of other variables.

    Hello VJ Members,

My sister will be appearing for the F4 interview soon. She applied for a visit visa in 2017 and 2018 in order to visit our mother who was hospitalized during that time. Her visit visa was denied( probably due to pending F4). The CO never gave her any reason for rejection.

My question is that - Will it be held against her during her immigrant visa interview?

We have clearly mentioned in our IV application that her visit was denied twice.

Please chime in if any of you had a similar experience.

    Thanks

    No. Never
