  1. Good morning everyone,

Just had a quick question finally got our interview notice after waiting 1 year. Had a following question

"A complete copy of your adjustment of status application package. In addition to Form I-485, have available any other forms (e.g. I-130, I-130A, I-864, I-131, I-765) you may have submitted."

When we submitted our form i-485,  We filled it out and sent the original I cannot find the copies of the form, but I do have the other supporting documents since we did not send originals. Do i just fill a new form I-485 for the interview?

    Thanks for the help

No you don't get a new priority date. It remains the same through. And sorry you are mistaken the current Bulletin isn't Dec 2017.

    F2A is at 01DEC16

hank for  your reply am i missing something?

    B.  DATES FOR FILING FAMILY-SPONSORED VISA APPLICATIONS

The chart below reflects dates for filing visa applications within a timeframe justifying immediate action in the application process. Applicants for immigrant visas who have a priority date earlier than the application date in the chart below may assemble and submit required documents to the Department of State’s National Visa Center, following receipt of notification from the National Visa Center containing detailed instructions. The application date for an oversubscribed category is the priority date of the first applicant who cannot submit documentation to the National Visa Center for an immigrant visa. If a category is designated “current,” all applicants in the relevant category may file applications, regardless of priority date.

The “C” listing indicates that the category is current, and that applications may be filed regardless of the applicant’s priority date. The listing of a date for any category indicates that only applicants with a priority date which is earlier than the listed date may file their application.

Visit www.uscis.gov/visabulletininfo for information on whether USCIS has determined that this chart can be used (in lieu of the chart in paragraph 4.A.) this month for filing applications for adjustment of status with USCIS.

  4. Hey all,

Permanent resident filling for my spouse, been waiting for I130 approval was wondering what the priority date will be once approved. because I got a receipt in the mail with a September 2017 priority after i filled my i130 form.

Does this reflect on what is on the visa bulletin site which is currently December  2017 for F2A or do they give me a new priority date once the case moves to NVC?

    Thank you

  5. yes i called them yesterday and they told me that they had a lot of back log and it doesnt matter if your current, they still have to process ur ds 260! which i submitted 4 months ago i dont really get it why they take a long time . but dont worry guys we will get a interview sooner than later no use stressing we are blessed to get selected in the first place. Good luck!!!

  6. Hi all congratulations to all the selectees for the 2015 dv.

I had a question regarding AOS VS consular interview.I am currently a F1 student in status but since my case number is 229 and i am on summer break do i still need to register for the fall 2014 session to still be in status or do you think my case number will be current before August 2014 or do they only start making dates current after october?

I am currently in status if i dont register for classes by august 27 2015 i will be out of status.my questiion is will i be able to apply for Aos before that and do i need to be in status throughout the process.

Thank you looking forward for you replies
