I am a US Citizen and My parents do not have Birth Certificate. What should we do in order to bring the here while lodging a file for their Permanent Residency?

in my I-751 case, yesterday means 05-31`-2017 was my fingerprint/biomatric appointment was done. Today i checked my status online, still says that "We received your case", Now how long should i wait and what do i have to do? If you know, please let me know, it would be appreciated.

I have lodge my petition for removing my conditions for permanent residency on 5th of May 2017, also sent my money order of $680 to The U.S. Homeland security. It was in the file. Today i have received a receipt of $680 from the homeland security with the receipt number on it. It says you can check the status on www.uscis.gov with your receipt number. I have tried to check the status by putting the number provided, it says " Validation Error(s), You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding: My case status does not recognize the receipt number entered. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283."

I don't know what to do. Can you help me with this!!

I am just soooooooo happy. Finally wait is over.

Now I just can't wait to see him.

it is really no time to do a b2 visa. we just submitted the ds160 for my MIL and within an hour we paid the fees online. there was an appointment in Delhi 10 days later for her interview. She will go next week for interview and god willing she will come visit us in US this summer.

Honestly filling the paperwork, paying the fee hardly took an hour or 2, then its just when does the embassy/consulate have the next available appointment for the interview.

Hello everyone,

I am living in USA with my family (sister, brother & parents) for past 12 years.

My grandmother is getting old & she is also little sick.

I would like to bring her in USA for some time.

How long does it take for TOTAL processing time on visitor visa?

Another thing is my grandmother is living in small village in India and she is 86 yrs old.

It is hard to get her all document such as birth certificate record & all since they had no hospital in village the time she born.

How should I manage everything is short period of time?

I would like to bring her in USA asap.

Can some one please help me to understand process step by step & also let me know what is total processing time starting from filling out application to getting visa?

I wouldn't be surprised if those right wing Texans were delaying your case on purpose. Keep checking with their customer support on at least weekly basis. The only consolation with your case is at least you can travel freely between US and Canada. Our anniversary is coming up on April 10th, and it doesn't seem like my wife is going to get an interview date before that, so we'll be celebrating on Skype.

Finally I got my conformation by email for case complete.

I spent first anniversary with my Hubby on Skype. Many reasons my school, cost lots of money & it is not easy.

I called NVC & they told me that my case is already completed last Friday May 13th.

For more sponsor / affidavit support docs I do not have to wait 60 days & I do not send docs to them.

They are scheduling interview for my husband and my husband can provide those documents during interview.

Now I have to send all the docs to my husband before interview so he can take it with him.

The lady at NVC told me I do not have to worry at all anymore. Case is completed and they are just waiting for spot to open so they can schedule interview for my husband.

I received email from NVC stating check list

They want another joint sponsor/affidavit of support. I just don't know why?

Based on their website ---- http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-864P.pdf. Poverty for affidavit of support I showed more income then it is require.

Do I now have to wait another 60 days? Is there anything else I can do?

Can't my husband shows more documents during interview?

PLEASE HELP....what should I do now beside sending another joint sponsor?

They received my AOS and supporting documents on January 23rd, and then the status of AOS fees changed to N/A on March 13th. So technically I didn't have to wait full 60days for them to review all the documents. But I still haven't received an email confirmation or interview date for my wife yet. I suppose it is just speculation that the case is complete, until we get something more solid from the NVC or the Consulate.

That is great that you didn't have to wait for 60 days. Hoping for the best.

I called NVC on March 9th and they told me to wait for 60 days and they will send me email for further process & all.

That does help but I am still disappointed b/c I told my Hubby that everything will be done in 60 days (as that is what NVC told me too)

But he is thinking that he will receive letter from NVC after 60 days stating the date of interview & medical check up.

This is really frustrating b/c now it could take 60 to 68 days not only that....40 to 60 days for an interview :'(

Btw NVC received our papers on Jan 22 & they r saying that they will notify us by March 22 (60 days)

Hoping I will not get any checklist either and they finish in 60 days.

I have submitted my AOS & IV package

I know now NVC are accepting photocopy of all docs & then beneficiary have to show originals at the visa interview.

My question is that for AOS docs..... proof of citizen or permanent residence I have send photocopies of Naturalization certificate & US passport for my self (Sponsor) & for my parents (joint sponsor) as well as photocopy of birth certificate for proof of relationship & printed copy of letter of employment since I got them in email not in paper. Do I need to submit those docs in original? Or Do I have to send those original docs to my husband? Do they require originals of those docs?

I have photocopies of all IV docs as well BUT my husband has ALL ORIGINALS of IV docs.

The only thing I am worried about is AOS original docs

I m complete with both my fees and now submitting all the AOS docs.

I have question regarding that so please any one help me.

I am showing myself as a sponsor & as well as my parents.

My parents have supported at the time of my brother in law 2 years ago.

The minimum requirement pdf form on NVC website is little confusing for me. Once my husband will be here in the US we are living ourselves as 2 pPL but currently I m showing that my parents & I are sponsoring to my husband so IS THERE TOTAL HOUSEHOLD # SHOULD BE 4?

What should be minimum requirement do I need? Is it based on current income or based on last 3 years income? Is it really 30,000 based on pdf or something different?

Do I have to show my bank account balance? I mean HOW NVC will know how much I have in bank since they are not require any proof?

Please help me. If any one can explain me this in as much detail as they can it will be really appreciate.

Hey guys, I need ASAP help.

I am in USA & my hubby is in India. Our AOS fee just got paid and now my Hubby will have to fill out DS-260 form.

We already filled out DS-260 Exemplar form so it don't take long time.

There are two questions asked where I am confuse.

1) Address where my hubby is intended to live after arriving to US. (address written on I-130)

2) Is this address where you want your green card to be mailed? ( I moved after filling I-130 but for temporary...my permanent address is still the one on I-130)

My permanent address is different then mailing address. Temporary I am living away from my permanent address. I want my Hubby's GC at my current address but in I-130 & all other forms I have entered my permanent address. Is it ok if I have two different address shown?

I just want to make sure that there will be no process delay or any confusion/problem.

I have paid my AOS fees & currently it is in process.

I have all my AOS docs ready in order NVC wants (NVC send me an email with case # & what docs they require in order)

I just want to make sure b/c I do not want any check list.

ONE MORE QUESTION is that when NVC send me the list of docs they want it has AOS & Supporting docs ( marriage certi, birth certi, passport copy, police clearance & all) - part of beneficiary docs. Can I send those docs with AOS docs?

I have all the copy of the beneficiary docs. Hope not missing anything..
