  1. You should call NVC again as you're over 60 days now. My case has been complete for a week but the CEAC receipt page hasn't updated from PAID to N/A. It's a highly reliable signal when it happens, but it's not guaranteed to happen!

Thanks for your comment and congrats on your CC! Actually we did call several times. When I called on Nov 14th, the NVC rep said they haven't started review and tell me to wait and there is nothing she can do for me. I called on the next Wednesday morning, then the NVC lady said my document are currently under review. Tonight, my hubby called NVC and guess what...

They said they don't have my police report and were about to send me a checklist. I sent two copies (the original one and photocopy)! I can't believe they lost both of them. I copied all documents before I sent for my own reference and yes, I DID send my police report. The representative my hubby talked tonight put our case in a request for a supervisor review and we were told that it will take up to 42 days from now... I'm so devastated. My AOS scan date is Sept 9th and IV scan date is Sep 17th. The NVC rep also said there us a lot of supervisor requests for similar reason as this and I remember there were people who experienced the same thing. Is there anyone who got approved before 42 days?

  2. Case completed. supervisor found all necessary papers and today we got status changed and called and NVC representative confirmed cc. Soon it will be sent in Tbilisi, Georgia. I am excited thanks a lot to everyone who helped me among all these time especially Saylin, Magda and Austin Canada. Just in case I sent checklist papers but even they didn't open and said we won't look at it. I thought it would take long and it was risk checklist to stay and therefore we preferred to have 2 month waiting than 42 and after 2 month. But thanks God everything finished good. I can't believe I am on condition I was dreaming 6 months ago. I adore Visa journey.

    Congrats, Vivian&Jaba!!!

  3. After receiving our RFE, I've been looking through some forums. Our lawyer didn't want us to submit any proof of a bona fide marriage with our 130. However, from what I've been reading, it seems that if you didn't submit anything extra, you're just doomed for an RFE. I'm kicking myself now for not sending stuff the first time. Did you guys all send proof?

My case was approved on Jun 4th. We didn't send any proof of a bona fide marriage.

  4. Hello everyone,

I'm new here. I have filed I-130 in Dec 2013(PD: Dec 13 2013) and filed I-129F on Apr 25 2014. My case was slightly updated when they received my I-129F(On April 30, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.)and no words since then. The process takes so much longer than I have imagined...I hope everyone here hears good news soon.
