Mine said the same thing. I had my visa in hand in 10 days. This just means they are printing it and installing it into your passport. Not to worry!
Thanks! This makes us feel a lot better.

My husband has his interview at the Montreal consulate yesterday. His officer told him he was approved and handed him a "Welcome to the United States" letter. When we checked his visa status later on Ceac, however, it says "Issued." But underneath "Issued" is text that says:
Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. As the officer told you in the interview, if further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved when administrative processing is finished, you will receive notification to collect the passport with the visa from the Loomis branch you selected when you booked your appointment.
Is this real administrative processing or just standard for right before the visa is sent out? We're kind of freaking out. Has this happened to anyone else?

So is the Loomis confirmation just the summary page when you finish registering? It just says where you want to pick up?
-
Wow, thank you so much. That is super helpful!

Is it the same as the MTL... number? I thought that would be the "case number." See screenshot here: http://imgur.com/b7kthdl

I've been panicking about this too! My husband's appointment is next Friday! IN that whole registration, I'm still confused about when they ask for the DS-260 number on the first page of that. Where do you find that? I went back to my original application and didn't notice it.
-
Thanks, guys. In the registration, I see it asks for a DS-260 case number. Where would I find this? I went back to my application, but I don't see a number on it.

How do we know when the casefile reaches Montreal? Does that just mean when an interview is scheduled?

My husband's interview is in a week, and I'm pretty confused about what to do regarding courier services. It seems like there's a new government website that you register on. Is that true? Also, is it Loomis or DHL? If you don't register for them through this government website, how do you do it? And what's a waybill?

No, there's no choice. They probably have some kind of internal logic, but nothing you can do.

Almost everyone who go theirs fast was at the California Service Center. That's the key here, I think. It looks like that center is just working more quickly than others. You are at the Vermont Center, right? They seem to be moving at a much slower pace. So don't worry -- you have no reason to freak out. You are where you're supposed to be.

Most i-130s take about five months to be processed, so you should expect to wait that long. Some of us got ours processed more quickly, but it seemed to be just an unusual stroke of luck. It also seems that most of those speedy ones were at the California Service Center. I see you're at the Vermont Service Center, so you should probably expect a longer approval than the California ones got.

I work from home, so I've been in Canada with my husband (I'm American). We filed from Canada. It says which service center you're routed to on your NOA1. Good luck! It'll come!
-
Nope. I think I was just part of that lucky wave of April filers who were processed quickly when they filed abroad and got sent to California. Here's to hoping that wave continues!

Hey guys,
I got my NOA2 today! It's been exactly one month and two days. Filed from abroad, California Service Center, etc.
-
Has your check been cashed? That's usually a sure sign they've received it.
-
I'm starting to lose hope in these auto-expedited NOA2s. Anyone heard any good news lately?
-
Does it seem like the April filer NOA2 approvals been slowing down recently?
-
The mail confirming your priority date is the NOA1, I think.
-
We filed from Canada in April and got routed to CSC.

Hi guys,
I filed for my husband at the end of April and our check was cashed on May 1st. No receipt yet. We're filing from Canada and using a lawyer. Was just wondering if anyone else went the lawyer route.
Visa status says "Issued" but text under says AP

Update: One business day after we got this message, it changed to final processing and looks totally normal!
