    lost my F1 statut and have a sister citizen

    in Adjustment of Status from Work, Student, & Tourist Visas

    Hi,

    I came here on a F1 visa in 2011. In 2013 , I lost my status due to financial matters. I talked to a lawyer regarding my case and he explains me that it can be possible to adjust my statut since my sister is an usc.for that there are 2 possibilities

    First she can directly field for me as relative but it could take 10 years before any changes with few chances

    Second, she can apply for our mother and she will aply for if she approved.

    A friend of mine refers me to this forum , so if any one ever have a similar case or have some informations with more details I will really appreciate.

    I'm actually 24.
