My fiancé has submitted our papers for his petition for me. That is the K1 application he submitted that to Dallas Texas last March 14, 2014 .It's been almost 2 months and he haven't receive any letter of notification that the documents that he sent to USCIS is receive. Can somebody tell me what's the possible reason for that . Because it should be sent to him 2 to 3 weeks after he sent that documents.

Unfortunately my fiancé lost the receipt what he sent was the money order. Is it possible to go to the place where he sent that packet ? I am so worried that our documents might be lost. How can we get a hold of our document when we lost the receipt?
