How long before you can expect a reply email from embassy after being approved in interview but put in AP stats. Fiancé had interview on Nov 12th was given a 221g for a Doc missing he provided that doc in two business days to the embassy in Kuwait and was asked to leave passport with it. Consular said when you turn in paper and passport we will get back to you in a few days to finish your application. Well no word back from embassy yet sent several emails and no reply. Can anyone shed light on this and any experience with embassy in Kuwait.

Good day I went to the website where you can read the full ruling. One they are wanting to do from what I read was speed up the process for companies hiring a specific employee. Which fine do what you need to but this was my comment to that.

(Good day my only comment on this is it going to help the processing centers of already back logged cases regarding Families who have been waiting or will it impose more case load on the centers. If so what happens to the cases they are behind on for K-Visa or I-130 etc. I understand companies want to hire the best and that may lead to out sourcing and bringing someone over via Visa. Also there is a real need to expedite the process for American Citizens who are using there rights to bring family to them in the USA. Either way there needs to be a balanced system to both the working and the family Visa approval.)

Hi right now texas is very slow. Be prepared to wait like 5 months fir your NOA2. It may even surpass that. After getting your NOA2, it goes to NVC than to the consulate. Overall expect 8 to 10 months till your interview if Texas continues on being so slow. Good luck

Good day everyone I am wondering if there is anyone that has recently filed for K-1 Visa and file is in Texas how long before getting there NOA2 ? John and I filed in March and recvd NOA1 on 3/28/2014 now waiting for NOA2. I am asking cause we were told by our lawyer it would be 3mths to recve Visa and now he is saying 5-9mths. We are both living in Kuwait so after NOA2 and then if Im following right goes to NVC then our US Embassy here in Kuwait. I keep finding all these different time lines and feel very confused and lost in this process.

If anyone can clarify for us that would be great. We are hoping to be in US by Aug but not sure now. Thank you so much in advance for any advice. Trust me Im trying to be patient

Hello new member Angie.

Just wondering if anyone out there is dealing with a age difference? I am older than my Fiance by 16yrs. Im 42 and he is 26. I find it funny in our society this is ok if the other way around but not female to male. So Im asking if we will have difficults in are approval and many delays. I have hired an attorney to help with our application so no mistakes to be made. Look forward to any advice or reply of the same situation.
