Hello all i have a joint sponsor. They sent me their w2 photocopy for the most recent year but do i need to bring the original to the interview because he is very hesitant and worried for us to get it. And do i need to bring his original pay stubs too

Does the petitioner go to an interview as well as the Immigrant or just the immigrant. What else is needed from the petitioner after nvc, anything?

Hello all, im now at the nvc stage of this, i payed the fees, now i dont make enough money to be a sponsor, i have  a joint sponsor. Do we submit this application online? Im confused, and do i have to submit one as well? Ive never filed taxes. what documents does my joint sponsor need to prove how much they make? 

Ok, do you know the name of the visa that allows the beneficiary to come to wait in the usa for the duration of the process

SO I received NOA2 april 12 by mail. No email. Now does nvc email me my case number or send it in mail. And my beneficiary moved, I tried to email them to tell them, hopefully they can resend it?

And ive never filed taxes because I never made enough. My mom said she will be co sponsor, hopefully that works

I'm considering a lawyer... as much as I'd like to save money would prefer to go through the process with professional guidance as I'm confused as all hell and would hate to mess up. How can I find a legit one / or decent priced? What's their avg rates? Im in southern cali. Thanks for input.

Thanks for your answers Lakehouse and Jules He is back in USA since January 2014 and works since then, but previously he was in Canada since 2011 and obviously didnt work in USA during that time, so he didnt file any taxes for those years... Next year he'll do his taxes for 2014, but it wont do any good for now.

If you don't have boarding passes, you could always scan the stamps in your passport if you have any. Do you have chat, e-mail or phone records? Letters or postcards to each other? Receipts for the rings? Any kinds of insurance policies?

I could definitely do the passport scan just wasnt sure if they would believe it was mine because the page doesnt show whose passport it is? and the entry stamp into his country was on my new zealand passport, and the exit stamp out of his country is on my us passport. We also lived together 6 months in england, but we got a lease paper that shows we lived together for that.

You could include;

Boarding passes for your flights

Receipts for gifts for each otter

Any mail you had sent to his address with your name on

Letters and cards addressed to both of you

Affidavits of bona fides from friends and family

Hotel reservations displaying both of your names

Anything that indicates co-mingling of finances (joint bank accounts, credit cards etc)

Chat logs, e-mails and phone records

Photos of both of you at different times in different locations, including your wedding day

Please note; this is really not an exhaustive list; anything that builds a picture of your relationship is acceptable. Including your ultrasound with a little note explaining what it is can't hurt.

Hmm well i lost boarding passes, threw them away.

No receipts of anything.

I Threw away the mail i had sent to me at his address. Didnt think it was important.

I can get affidavits from neighbors and friends.

No hotels.

No bank accounts

Have some pictures not a ton.

And we didnt have a wedding because it was too expensive just got the marriage cert. Is that enough you think?

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how to prove i was living with him in his home country for 6 months.

And if I am 5 months pregnant with his baby would it be necessary to include a picture of the ultrasound?

i met my spouse when he was living in UK illegally~ as he had payed 5k to get in there without having a passport stamp and stayed 4 years to work~ i the female am the us citizen~ do i have to submit a police report from him living in england?

im going to file in usa~ is there any way to expedite if im pregnant? is there a general wait time if my hometown is california? and what kind of background will disapprove my petition? if i have a misdemeanor is it ok?

so my spouse is from a really poor country and has almost no money~ and as do i ive never really had a job for more than a month~ can he prove his income availability by the money in his bank from selling his house or he still needs a sponsor and can that be his cousin in the usa?

i believe im in a country that doesnt have direct filing~ albania~ if anyone has any clue or help thanks~ as it says you have to be a resident for 6 months to do dcf abroad is that true in your case? although rome says they do dcf just not sure if i can do it there? does the filing have to be in the country you get married? thank you

hello crew! so ive been living in albania 5 months with my fiance and his family~ we are getting married this week and im 4 months pregnant~ i was wondering if cr1 is the best option for my situation or if there is an easier faster route since im pregnant with his kid? thanks for the help in advance~

ps for cr1 do i have to make an income? or how does the sponsor situation work exactly?
