  1. Hi

    I need some help.

I am looking at the passport renewal form and I just want to make sure I am completing the form correctly.

I am requesting a new passport due to change of name. My current passport is in my previous married name so I need to get it changed to my current married name.

On the form it asks if you have been married before - does that question pertain to the question "Are you a married, widowed or divorced woman, whose claim to British nationality is through marriage to a British man before 1 January 1949" the answer I checked as No. Or do I have to give my ex husbands details as well as my current husbands details. I am so confused and the notes do not seem very clear.

Also am I right in thinking I will just need to submit my old passport and my marriage certificate (will a copy do?) and 2 new passport photographs?

    Thank you

  2. Thank you so much - I guess I was just a little panicked - now I understand that I won't be travelling on VWP - I get confused very easily lol

Thanks for helping me - my panic is over!

Now I can relax and look forward to my visit - I have 2 new grandchildren due to be born while I am over there so I am really excited!!!!! :)

  3. I am a UKC - I have a 10 yr green card.

I am sorry if I confused you but I don't know too much about the ESTA.

Will I have to apply for ESTA to come back in to the USA or will I just need my green card to re-enter. What I have read says that travellers using VWP to travel to the US need to complete ESTA but I cannot find any information about LPR using VWP.

Last time I travelled to the UK I travelled under VWP and used my greencard to re-enter US.

I guess I am still ok to do this?

  4. Hi All

I am all set to go back home for a 3 week visit and suddenly thought as I will be travelling on the VWP back to England will I need to do the ESTA?

I havent been back home for a visit since this was introduced and therefore don't know too much about it.

    Thanks

  5. Congratulations on your approval!

I was also transfered from VSC to CSC and my approval letter came in a Vermont envelope but the letter was from my local office (Atlanta). I am now waiting for my card to arrive. My approval date was 03/31/09 and my approval letter was received 04/04/09. My case is still showing as being sent to CSC on 03/03/09 - no updates since.
