I though you need to show current green card as part of the documents needed ?
We tried to cal Washington embassy, will try New York.

Has anyone renewed their Ukraine passport at the Ukraine embassy In Washington DC, can you provide details ?
Also green card is expired but have extension letter from USCIS, will embassy accept this letter or do I have to wait for new green card ?

Hi all,
Wife and I just came back from Ukraine via Istanbul with Turkish Airlines, wife had no issues with Turkish Airlines, she just showed her Ukraine passport, expired green card and extension letter, Turkish Airline supervisor reviewed all and was approved.
We arrived at Miami airport we both are Global Entry, wife received X on print out and than Global Entry officier reviewed her passport, expired green card and Ext. letter, entered info. Into computer and was cleared without any delay.

You can fly to Atlanta airfare is not that expensive and meet her after is clears immigration and customs.
My wife arrived via JFK took her over 2hr’s to clear, she had 3 1/2 hr connection but that to change terminals.
My mistake was not meeting her at JFK.

We did a walkin for the Orlando office this past May, we went around 11AM on a Wed and had no problem.
Late morning or late afternoon midweek is your best chance, If the office is busy you will probably be turned away.

My wife is adjusting from k1 visa still waiting for her final approval to receive her green card, she wants her daughter to visit us when she is off from school in Jan. 2016, has anyone been approved recently for their college aged child to visit them in the US for a B1 visa from Ukraine ?
We support the daughter in Ukraine, so she had very little assets of her own.

Good news today received approval email for EAD, just updated our timeline

We did a walkin for my wife's biometrics at the Orlando office, my attorney advised Wednesday's or Thursday's late mornings are the best times for the Orlando office. When we arrived the security asked supervisor for ok for walkin she replied no problem was finished and out in 20 minutes !

I'm in Kiev with my fiancé now as she has her medical exam today and her interview tomorrow, she had no issues scheduling her medical, she just called the facility and ask if they had opening for the day she wanted, this was about two weeks ago she made the appointment. I than made the embassy appointment online the day after the medical.
