  1. Hey guys! :)

    I had my K-1 visa interview on 11/25/2014 at the US Embassy in Budapest, Hungary and I was approved. I checked the visa status on the CEAC website yesterday and it said "Issued". Today morning I received an email and a call from the delivery service that the embassy uses that I will receive my package today.

    At 10:50am local time I received my passport (with the K-1 visa in it) and the sealed brown envelope that I will have to carry with me and give to the IO at POE. :thumbs:

    I'm so happy that everything went smoothly and only 2 days after the interview I have the visa in my hand! I already have my plane ticket, I will enter the U.S. on December 6th, one day after my 24th birthday! :D A few days after POE I'll apply for a Social Security Card, then me and my fiancé will get married (still in December), and after that I will get a new Social Security Card with my married name. We will file for AOS/EAD/AP in January.

    I'm so happy to say that my K-1 journey has come to an end and it's a happy ending! ^_^ I can't wait to start my new life in America with the man of my dreams. (L):luv:

    Good luck to you all! (F)

    Congrats!!...and welcome to United States, the land of the free :)

  2. I been NOA1 since 10/24/2014 and the USCIS site has been displaying the error message ever since they updated, and just 5 minutes ago I checked and got the following message;

    On November 20, 2014, we approved your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number SRC*******. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your approval notice by December 20, 2014, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

    Would this happen to mean my case is NOA2? My case was handled at Texas Service Center.

    Yes, I received the same email but December 21st is when I'm supposed to request a hard copy if nothing comes in the email. I had given up looking at the status after reading other comments from people here who have waited for 3 to 7 months. Infact, I was surprised because I mailed my 129F package in October and I was thinking of at least 4 to 7 months for my NOA2 approval.

    Lets hope we get it soon. Good luck to us and to others who are still waiting.

  3. I have been reading here for awhile at the lengthy times, 3-4 months, between receiving the NOA_1 and the NOA_2. I submitted my I-129F on Oct 15, notice date for NOA-1 is Oct 20 and NOA-2 Oct 31. Anybody else getting super fast processing or is this the new normal? Should I have any concerns about this or am I just lucky?

    You must be very very luck!!. I think CSC is very much on time and they have no backlog like TSC. I submitted my I-129F in Oct 16th and received my NOA1 hard copy on the Oct 20th but haven't seen my NOA2 yet. There's no need to be concerned, you submitted your package somebody went through it and approved it ...enjoy what you got and run with it now!

  4. Transfer Request Question ??????????

    So, I mailed my package in Oct3rd and by the 20th I received the NOA1 hard copy by mail. I'm still waiting for NOA2 to be approved. Now, my question is, since TSC has huge backlog and it's taking longer to process approvals/denials. Can somebody request a transfer to CSC or any other Center? How does it work? Can you request even if you don't know the decision? Not sure they would deny me but I haven't gone throw process before. CSC seems to be processing cases faster than TSC and would like to know whether it's possible to transfer.

    Sorry if this question doesn't below here - please direct me.

    Thanks in advance!
