  1. My case for I-765 was filed on the 14th of August with NOA1 on 18th of August and biometrics on the 25th of September. My I-485 is stuck on acceptance and my I-765 and I-113 are both still in initial review. Like Tina said, it's very frustrating to still be waiting when many others are being approved after our filing dates.

Exactly the same situation for me !

EAD and AP are stuck on Initial Review since 18th August, Fingerprint taken on 8th of September.

  2. My interview was scheduled at 1pm. I got there 30 minutes earlier. After security check, I got inside the Embassy where I had to give my passport, at another window my fingerprints were taken, after that they called my name at the first window to give all the documents needed, then go to another window to pay the Visa Fee, and then wait to have the interview. I waited around 15 minutes. There were 3 other people (Diversity Visa). I was the third one to be interviewed.
I had around 10-12 questions asked:

In what language I communicate with my fiance (because he wasn`t born in the US). My fiance's birthday? How we met? His parents name? Where do they live? What`s my fiance job? When he came to visit? When he proposed? If we established a date for the wedding? Wedding Plans? If my parents will attend at the wedding? If I met his parents?

    .... "your Visa is approved"

Everyone was nice and calm...really friendly

    Good luck all !

  3. Yaaaaaay beloved fiance..called uscis ..and said: come on we sent our package may 9th and still nothing about it.. Whats going on? They asked to call back... So they came with our case number: Wac **** ( is it for californian center right?)and they said the address wasnt right... But we already ve been APROVED yaaaaaay! They fixed what was wring.. And now Im happy!!!

That`s awesome ! What`s the date when you`ve been approved? Your petition is at NVC? You need to call them to give you another number so you can track your package until it arrives at the Embassy !

    Great, Thanks!

Yup, i am trying to be organized too and trying to get even extra stuff. For example for Naturalized Citizens copy of all pages of Passport is not a requirement. Just Citizenship Certificate. but I submited passport anyway, just in case. so trying to do the same thing with my next steps:) It is kind of hard as there are not a lot of people are going thorugh the same country im going thorugh:)

And yay for July 4th. that's exciting. Welcome soon to the country;)

My fiance is Naturalized Citizen also, we sent only a copy of his Naturalization Certificate. You think it`s needed to take with me his passport pics? I don`t think is neccesary. I admit that I had some help from some girls (from my country, found them here on VJ) that already been thru this process and they helped me with infos.

Tomorrow is the big day, Interview :dancing::clock:

  4. Alics, that's awesome! did you have to get Police report? do you need Package 3 first to request that police report? or what dpocumentation is needed to request it? trying to be ahead of the game and seeing what my fiancee can do before she gets Package 3. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I got the Police report. You don`t need package 3 in order to do that, I did it before, I think it`s available 6 months (but this depends from a country to another, you better ask first). I already knew what are the requirments for package 3 so I scheduled my medical and police before receiving phone call from Embassy. You need to go at the Police Station and ask what documents you need for that (it can be different). Also I asked my fiance to send me the needed papers (as required in K1 Guide from VisaJourney), work, bank, letter of intent, copy of NOA2, W2, two pay stubs (check the Guide). This is what I did, trying to be ready with everything when Embassy calls me, so that`s why it looks really fast, I am kinda organized. I want to spend 4th of July with him

  5. wow.. interview a month later after starting the process? Never heard about it! I was expectinf my interview for november.. every case I googled from brazil takes at least 5 months.. and man I just miss my fiance so bad..anyways today we are gonna call uscis and see whats wrong

Two months since we sent the package until the interview date. We sent the petition on 29 april, and I will have my interview on 25 June. Lucky CSC filler.

  6. People get confused about Texas Lockbox (where all the petitions are sent), and Texas Center or California Center. What`s weird is the fact that the petition was sent on 9 May and they still don`t have NOA1.

I got my interview scheduled on Wednesday, 25 June :D I`m not scared, I got everything in order, just waiting to be asked about my fiance, I can talk for hours :D To be honest, I`m more scared about the long flight rather than the interview. I really hope everything goes smooth

  7. Congratulations , in 12 days time you will receive packet 3 . And then medical and interview appointment.

tomorrow is my medical exams plus i will be getting interview date probably the end of june. Quite a big day for me as well.

best of luck to you and everyone else.

The Embassy called me yesterday (19 June) to ask my email adress, for the instructions (didn't use postal service anymore). Today I had my medical exam, everything went smoothly, Monday I'll call to schedule my interview, to be honest, I want to fly on 2nd July, wanna celebrate 4th of July (Independence Day) with my fiance ♥

  8. I am HER :D The Beneficiary

So, tomorrow he will send me all the documents needed for my interview:

    1. Intent Letter with a recent date
    2. I-134 Affidavit of Support, filed by hand with black pen:
    - work: W2 year 2013 and the letter + two pay stubs
    - papers from bank (day to day savings, interest checking and saving plus account), 3 papers with accounts details.
    3. Copy after NOA2

This is it, we are almost done with step 1 :D Looking forward for the interview, I hope it will be easy, then the long flight, and finally, the meeting !

  9. Yay congrats! Glad to hear things are moving along so quickly for you :)

Did you just count 10 business days after your NOA2 and call? Or did you try calling before then? I'm at this stage of the game (NOA2 on 10 June) so I'm a little anxious to find out the timeline for these next steps.

Thursday 29 May got our NOA2, we first called NVC Monday, 9 June and they said that don't have our file yet, then we called again on Wednesday 11 June and we received the number. What concerns me now, after we got the number, the process with sending the package at the Embassy will be fast or slow? Because that woman told him to call them back in a few weeks to see how the process is going. Also he asked if he can track the case online and NVC lady said "no, just call back" ... but I can track it on CEAC website. I just hope to see "in transit" ASAP

  10. Thank you. Got our in 8 days. All May filers of CSC have been getting very early. I hope and wish that you will receive yours soon. It's a stressful period though :( since our loved ones are far away :(

Thanks for encouraging ;-) we try to be strong, I'm happy that our package is at CSC and I keep hoping we will get an answer soon. We will be together, this is my only thought. ..
