I need help and advice on who is best to file for my brother.

My sister is a US citizen and my mother is a LPR.

If my sister or my mother file for him does he have to have a valid visa during the 5mth wait for the I-130 to be approved?

Can he adjust his status at all while he is here?

I know he was supposed to just come visit and return, but there are other family and security issues that may not allow him to return at this time.

Anyone adjust status for sibling or child over 21yrs???? :help:

Also, if the vaccinations are not completed before the interview date, they usually complete it when they arrive US.

But see if you can find more information on your country's portal- it is the tab after home, and forums at the top of this page.

I have personally found that country portals are very specific and useful.

Last night I logged in as I always do every day to my greatest surprise it was still reading 02/04/10.

Then this morning I saw that it was approved yesterday 04/27/10.

So I expect the hardcopy by friday or latest next weeek.

My american fiance sent the 129F with his div cert without any stamps/seal..

He got the original decree by mail today.

Do u guys think he should call USCIS and see what can be done..or just keep quiet and wait for a possible RFE???

I may be wrong but my thinkiig will be for you to wait to see if it will be requested. Sending a document without reference may be of no good to you.

I have no idea why yet, I got the text as I was trying on my wedding dress. Perfect timing! I'm almost 99% sure it's because we filled out something wrong, because neither of us have a criminal record, have been in the military, or have even been married before, and we've been together for almost 5 years so we had plenty of evidence. I'll be waiting by the mailbox every day now to see the reason and fix it and send it back ASAP.

But when I do find out I will let you know.
