i'm in this situation since almost 2 months , embassy told me that i'll not pay online , i'll pay at the embassy so i'm waiting for my application to open to get the confirmation page .

Is Portland Oregon the slowest field office in the nation?

I have been placed in line for scheduling since December 2d 2013. Received yellow letter in the mail on January 8th 2013 with instructions on what to bring at interview. Since then I haven't heard back from them. Called the USCIS office . They told me that My field office is currently processing the July 2013 files. This is very frustrating.

any advice? Anybody in similar boat? will infos pass appointment make any difference?

Hi, I'm from Portland,OR. and I'm in line for interview since January 20th 2014. I had an info-pass appointment (or I could call it dis-appointment ), the officer told me that processing time now is 7 months in Portland office and I might get an interview in June or July. It is frustrating thing. nothing we can do...
