Too soon to get worried. It's barely been 4 months. If you check, there are people still waiting since last year.

If she has ead she can go and get her ssn.

Hello, i am a USC, we send all documents for my wife on March 11 got the fingerprints letter and appointment, we took care of the fingerprints and she receive her Employment authorization card in may but we havent hear nothing about the interview or GC or SSN , the case online only shows that:

"As of May 11, 2016, we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status"

But i guess is taking long due that a lot of people is filling or idk but we are very anxious is been 2 months without any notice or letter we are in San Antonio, TX btw... Thanks everybody...

Hello Guys i havent been able to post updates on my case but now i have time

I went this past friday for my interview got there 30 min early, very crowdy place... had my appoinment at 10:55 i got called at 11:10 , very nice guy , while on the elevator started asking me about my job.. then we enter his office, talked about the weather and some mexican food, the right away just started shooting the 6 questions, what ocean is in the east side of the us, whats state border Canada, what is freedom of religion, cant remeber the other 2 haha , i pass them all is the good thing, then asked me to read 1 sentence and the to write the answer, asked me for my DL, GC and passport... just took them place them on the desk and look at them and handed back to me, went over my N400 all the regular questions that we answer there.. asked me if i had ever been arrested or any tickes, i had 1 speeding ticket back in 2010 i didnt put nothing on my application ( the instrucctions say that if the ticket is $500 or less you dont have to put it on) so i told the IO that i had 1 ticket back in 2010 and that i didnt put it on the application because the instructions say not to... he told me not to worry that that it will not affect my application and that it was ok.. he only wrote it down on the application and thats it, he made me sign some papers and finally the great news, you are recommended for approval congratulations!! yayy i was so happy but behave myself haha, then he just told me that i will receive a letter with the oath date in the next weeks and that was it

I want to thank everybody herei read a lot before applying and it was very helpfull.. now i have another journey to go, request my wife GC but thats another history haha. Greetings to everybody

But you also have to remember that you will need to put all your wife's information into the N400 and one of the questions also asks if you have ever helped anyone illegally immigrate to the U.S. so I would find help from a GOOD immigration lawyer before doing anything. You've created a mess for yourself there...

Hello im about to apply for naturalization and i im very confuse and nervous, i got married in here in USA in 2011, my wife came with a turist visa and overstay, now im ready to apply for citizenship but my question is ive been filling my tax returns SINGLE, since she dont work, she dont drive ,she dont have a bank account, nothing on her name, no itin, no SSN, we were just waiting for me to be citizen to apply for her green card, but does filling all this 3 years SINGLES will affect my naturalization proccess??
