IF you really have been approved your EAD within only two weeks I would first count yourself extremely lucky that it didn't take the usual 3 months.

And then I would suggest being patient. They won't send it any fast now if you ask them.

Be happy and wait.

thanks...but i am not lucky because the letter who send me to USCIS is i-797c. it only shows that your documents received by USCIS office...

Are you sure you didn't just receive the NOA1? Under "notice type" does it say "receipt"? If so, this is just USCIS confirming that they have received your application. There should be a receipt number listed. You can enter this here to check your case status.

The processing time for the I-765 is roughly 60-90 days, and for the I-485 it can be anything from a few months to over a year, depending on whether or not you need an interview and what your local field office is.

You should also receive a letter from USCIS in the next couple of weeks with instructions to go to a service center and get your fingerprints taken. If you haven't done this, there's no way anything has been approved.

you didn't mention your visa status...Islamabad embessay can take to much processing time after visa aproval. iam wating my passport for 9 months after my visa aproval..the embassider told me that we will send your passport with in 2 weeks... so your considerd minimum 6 months for your passport..thanks

I applied AOS for two weeks ago (K1 to permanent status).. i fill up form i-765 along with i-485 and necessary documents. ..then after a 1 week i received letter from USCIS which has mention that your case has been aproved...So my question is how much take time which they can send me my EAD (work permit authrouzation) because i dont have a job and i face to much problems..so any one can tell me which is better way to remind USCIS they can send me my EAD FAST.....thanks..

can anyone tell me i just submit my documents convert K1 to AOS. I filled i-765 along with i-485 form. after two weeks i received i-797c aproval notice from USCIS. So my Question is how much times they can send me i-797 (notice on action) form......And second question is how take long to send me work permit card because iam not eligible on work in USA .........

Do you mean AOS as in affidavit of support, or AOS as in adjustment of status? For the affidavit of support, you don't pay this fee because that is only for people who apply for a spouse visa abroad. For the adjustment of status, which is what you are doing, the fee is $1070 and it is paid by check or money order and is included when you send your adjustment of status package.

If your wife is unemployed and has no other income that will put her at 125% of the poverty level for her household size, she will need a joint sponsor. For a household of two she has to have income of at least $19,662, this is assuming it's only the two of you. If she has children, tax dependents, or if she has sponsored other immigrants in the past, they need to be included in the household size.

A joint sponsor can be anyone who is a USC, LPR, or US national. They do not need to live in the same state as you (they do have to live in the country) and they don't need to be related to either of you. They do have to make 125% of the poverty level for their household size and cannot combine their income with your wif

With my I-485 form, I was thinking in send besides what they ask me to send, documentation proving that i had a great life in my home country, like 4 documents, one proving i was a university student in a private university, another proving i had health care and visa travel money card international bank card, another showing that my family paid taxes for 2014 with me in as a dependent (I am young, 19) and that my family has assets and stuff like that

I was thinking that sending that stuff could help me prove that my intention in this country was not other than come here because of my husband, if it wasn't for my husband I would maybe never have thought about leaving my country since i had a good life there, But since I love my man very much, I am here for him, to be with him. So I even already got translated all those 4 documents.

You guys with your experience think that I should or should not send that type of documentation to supplement my green card through marriage package?

You should also submit I-131 for AP in case anything comes up that would require you to travel. Both forms are completely free to file as part of your AOS application and you should apply for them. Also how were you able to get an SSN the next day, or do you mean that you applied for an SSN?

I paid $120 for my medical and that included the TB skin test, blood work and the MMR vaccine that I needed. Unfortunately, civil surgeons do not accept insurance for the immigration medical.. it may differ state to state though..
