Hello everyone my husband had his interview last Feb 2015 at Lagos Embassy. During the interview the CO told my husband she was not convinced our marriage was genuine. My husband if there was anything he did or said wrong and she told him no. He then asked if we did not provide sufficient evidence she said yes, you provided plenty. My husband was then handed the 221g form white paper which stated your case is being sent back for the intent to revoke. Our case was sent back to USA in March and we received notice in May our case had been reaffirmed. I notified my congress office and she was shocked and called and it was true our case had been reaffirmed and no further evidence needed. I was informed via email and text our case have been sent for Visa Processing. Two weeks after that I got an Alert your case has been received by USCIS pending further review. I contacted my senator and she was told our case had been sent back to DOH because the security clearances had not been done. My congress also told me that because my case had been sent back to DOH I would receive no further update through USCIS nor would anything be updated thru CEAC. Well our case is with Vermont service center and we are currently pending security clearances and it been 8 months. Could anyone please let me know if you have any information on how long it has typically taken if your case is or has been at Vermont Service Center. Thank You!
